"Hey kiddo, what's wrong you look upset?" Mom said.
"Jaiden is supposed to take me out today but she's not answering my texts or calls," I laid down on her lap.
"That's odd did you guys have a fight or something?"
"No everything is fine but I have a gut feeling that something's wrong and it's bothering me"
"Maybe try to wait it out I'm sure she'd show up"
"Yeah maybe"
"Your mama is making her a smoothie why don't you go ask her for one?"
"Okay"

Hours roll by still no word from Jaiden. I'm worried more than I'm upset, that gut feeling was just getting to me, she wouldn't do that to me, would she?
"Hey," My brother Dean sat next to me.
"Hi," I said looking over at him with a smile, but really I just wanted to cry.
"Heard from Jaiden?"
"No, but I have a feeling something is wrong"
"I know that feeling"
"I'm trying not to think the worst but I can't help it, she doesn't go this long without texting or calling, usually she's up earlier than me and texts me good morning I don't understand"
"I know she loves you and I know you'll be the first person she'll tell if something's wrong"
"I know she loves me too but I'm still worried"
My phone dinged and I immediately picked it up thinking it was Jaiden, but instead it was a random number.
They sent me a photo that made my immediately made my stomach drop down to my butt.
"Is it from Jaiden?" Dean asked me.
I didn't say anything just showed him the picture with a message at the bottom reading.
'Is this your girl?💀'
It was a picture of Jaiden beat up, her face was covered in blood and cuts, she looked almost passed out from the beatings and there were two guys holding her up but you couldn't see their faces.
"Holy shit who would fucking do that?" Dean said.
"Dean what if she's dead?" I started breaking down crying.
"Hey don't think of the negative okay I'm sure she's fine"
"Oh my god," I broke down in tears and he immediately pulled me into a hug.
"It's going to be okay I promise we're going to find out what exactly happened.
"I'm so scared Dean"
