Chapter 15: There's no way to escape it

After the ordeal earlier, Yeonjun stormed into his pack's village, searching for K's wearabouts.

However, he was nowhere to be found.

The cottage that K and his friends had lived at was now empty, as if nobody has ever even stepped into it at all.

When Yeonjun walked out of the cottage, he met his dad's intense gaze upon his face.

"What are you doing here, son?" - Jungkook, asked.

"I- I'm searching for hyung! Where is he, dad?" - Yeonjun reacted to his father's question, nervously.

"He is with us no more."

"Why..."

"You're still young to know what is going on in these woods, son. Just stay out of this one, okay?"

"No."

"What?"

"I'm the next pack leader! I need to know what is going on!"

"Yeonjun! Do as I say!" - Jungkook used his alpha voice on his son and forced Yeonjun to oblige.

"So, now what? We can't just give up investigating K's gang of wolves, just because your dad said so!" - Soobin was mad at Yeonjun.

They were sitting in the witch's apartment, which was above Make Your Wish.

"If you don't want to help us, that's fine. We don't need your help anymore, anyways." - Jay, spoke out.

"Okay..." - Was all Yeonjun managed to say, he was kinda intimidated by the vampire lord.

Soon, Yeonjun left the apartment to return home.

"You didn't need to be so rude to him." - Soobin scolded Jay.

"So, you do care about your boyfriend." - Jay, mocked.

"He's not my boyfriend!" - Soobin denied, embarrassed.

"But, he was in the past, right?" - Niki, asked.

"No. We just... you know... hung around, that was all..."

"Sure..." - Niki, mocked Soobin as well.

"Don't you dare be sarcastic with me, Niki! We all know that your relationship with Sunoo is not perfect as well."

"Touche."

"So, what do guys think our next move should be?" - Jay, asked.

"None. I propose." - Jimin said as he entered the room.

"What do you want, witch?" - Jay said as he rolled his eyes.

"I think that you should step out of this one, my lord. Leave it to me."

"Leave you to kill the wolf that killed my father, instead of me killing him. No way! I'll kill K." - Jay, argued.

"K is not a normal wolf. Nor are his gang normal wolves. Niki, you wondered how he managed to defeat you like no wolf has ever done so before, right?"

"Yes. How did you know that?" - Niki, asked Jimin.

"I'm a witch. I know a lot of things that are happening around me."

"Mum, what do you mean that K is not a normal wolf?" - Soobin, asked.

Is that related to what hyung did? - Soobin, thought.

"Have you guys ever wondered where a vampire like Lee Jaeseung got magical powers?" - Jimin, asked.

"Yes, of course. I asked you this back then and you said that you didn't know." - Jay, responded with a suspicious glare.
