One week later
One week had past and Thomas and I had just got to the airport, and for my luck we where running late.
I always end up running late when I am catching a plane, so it would obviously happen this time.
"come on!" I yell to Thomas as we where sprinting to the terminal "I going as fast as I cannn!" He yelled back, panting.
we both had a rucksack on our backs, slowing us down a lot. "well our fastest isn't fast enough" I groaned.
we finally got to the terminal to see a few people running late as well, I sighed in relief as we did not miss our flight. we handed in our boarding passes and then started to board the plane.
we found our seats, row 1, seats 23 and 24. We both put our bags in the over head lockers and then sat down.
"you ready?" I asked looking over at Thomas, he was all clenched up, grabbing the armrest as tight as possible so you could see the veins popping out of his hands.
"nope" he said, gritting his teeth, looking straight ahead of him. I put my hand on his and then I felt him relax a bit "you will be fine" I chuckled as I kissed him on the cheek.
a few minutes later the plane started to move onto the runway and Thomas tensed up a bit more.
when we got up into the air, the flight attendants came round with the trolly, me and Thomas both ordered a coke and I got a small chocolate bar.
After a very long time the seat belt sign flashed on and everyone on the plane buckled their seat belts ready for landing. a sudden jolt flew across the plane followed by a few more, thomas quickly grabbed my hand and gripped it, I giggled.
I love plane rides, especially at the end with all the jolts and bumps. soon enough the plane landed on the runway and we where directed to safety inside the airport.
"see that wasn't so bad was it?" I said as I hugged Thomas and pecked him on the cheek
"It was horrible! I didn't tell you this cause I didn't want the people behind us to hear but their kid kept kicking the back of the seat, a few times I would feel a hand start to play with my hair as well, coming from OVER the seat. remind me to never have kids"
at his last remark my heart sank to its deepest, a piece of me shattered into tiny little pieces, so small that only words can rewind it.
"why do you not want kids?" I asked trying to seem cool about it. he looked at me, all of my efforts to hide my opinion failed.
I could feel him regretting what he said "it was only a joke" he stuttered, scratching the back of his neck.
I left the subject like that, I couldn't be bothered at the moment to argue, I was feeling to much disappointment, I had always wanted to be a mum.
we both collected our suit cases and headed of outside, my mum told me she would meet me there and give me a lift.
I told her I was bringing a friend but not that Thomas and I where dating. this will be a long trip.
