Blossoming hope

The day at the zoo was great fun, we looked at the monkeys penguins, lions, tigers and polar bears there was so much more we looked at but those where everyone's favourites. I personally liked the Tigers the best, luckily we came at the right time as the Cubs where finally coming out of the den, so we got to see them run around and play with each other. Dylan and Ki had about 5 slushies during the whole time at the zoo and got super hyper on the way back. Not long ago thomas asked me on a date and he gave me an idea what to wear, he said smart casual but more casual wear, I was really puzzled about what we where doing or where we were going but I knew that I would enjoy it. "Hey thomas?" I asked him doing me best puppy dog impression "mm?" He replied looking up from his phone to see my face "where are we going for the date?" I asked putting on a little baby voice and trying to act as cute as possible so he would tell me "nooooo! I will never tell" he yelled at me playfully and giving me a little shove "ur gh
Fineeee! Be that way" I said as I knew he would never give me the answer until we got there. "Want anything to eat or drink?" I asked him as I stood up from the sofa heading into the kitchen to make myself some tea "anything, what are you getting?" He said smiling just some tea" I said stretching me back "okay some tea please" he said grinning at me "coming right up!" I smiled. I came out a few minutes later with the two teas and we sat and watched some tv, I was a big fan of the Simpsons and thomas liked it as well so we watched a few episodes of that, soon enough Thomas had to go home, our date was tomorrow so I had to sort out what to wear Tonight "Bye!!" Thomas yelled as he started walking down the stairs of the flat "see ya tommoz!" I yelled after him just standing outside the door, I waited until he was completely out of sight then went back indoors and started to decide what to wear on our date. i soon decided on some skinny jeans and a black posh top to make it look a bit smart(shown at start) for the make up I wore smokey brown eye shadow kinda natural looking with black liquid eyeliner and some mascara and a bit of lip gloss. Look complete now I would be completely ready for tomorrow when for he comes.

A loud knock at the door is heard "come in!" I yelled, it was thomas who walked In he was wearing a pair of skinny black jeans like usal and a white shirt, the top 2 buttons undone "ya ready?" he asked me smiling, I looked deep into his chocolate brown eyes, his smile warming me up inside "yuppp" I said popping the p "great! Let's go" thomas said holding he door open for me to walk out "thanks" I said quietly, I was nervous about our date, it has been ages since I have been on one, the last date I went on was in high school with a boy named chris, we went to a cinema and then restaurant for dinner, it was great until the end, a group of the 'popular' girls saw me with him, one of them came up to us and said that he was cheating and that he was going out with her. Now I am afraid that it will happen this time, I highly doubt it but there is always that possibility. We both hopped into Thomas car and started driving towards where we wear going "okay, let's play a game!" Thomas said as he steered round a corner "like what?" I asked looking at him, he was so cuteit almost hurt but the thing with thomas is he is hot and cute at the same time! Like that's not even possible is it? "a question game" he said cheerfully "okay then, you start?" I replied, I was scared what type of questions he would ask me "hmm, okay then, If you had the choose to go back to Canada would you stay here or go?" He had an evil grin on his face "stay here!" I said after about 5 seconds of decision time "that was a fast response! You ask me a question now" he said, you could see by the grin on his face he was enjoying the game, or we where near our destination "ummm, if you could relive your whole life so far, what would you change?" This was a sneaky question because, if he changed one thing then that could change meeting me, or his whole career "well me mum is a terrible cook and once she made some apple pie for dessert, I totally forgot she was bad at cooking and had some, I was sick for a few days afterwards" his face was a bit red but his grin still on strong I guess he was embarrassed about being sick from apple pie or something. After about 20 minutes of the question game I finally found out what we were doing for our date, "thomas why are we pulling in here?" I asked him "this is where we are having our date" thomas replied his grin bigger than ever "O. M. G. THOMAS NO WAY!" We had pulled up at an aquarium, Thomas parked the car "do you like it?" He asked smiling "OF CORSE I BLOODY DO YOU BLINDO!" I laughed "okay okay! Shall we go in?" Thomas asked me, I nodded biting my bottom lip to hold in the excitement. When we got in Thomas got us our tickets and we wandered into the world of underwater, we where surrounded by a massive glass dome with fish swimming above, below and to the sides of us it was just so magical "selfie!" I shouted at Thomas as a massive shark swum passed us, we both looked back at the picture, it was me and Thomas, I was kissing him on the checks and he was smiling at the camera and in the back ground was the massive shark swimming by "I like that picture" I announced to Thomas "me too!" He replied smiling at me, "you know, you really are pretty" Thomas said staring right into my eyes, I felt myself blush and I looked down at my feet "how many times has someone said that you are pretty to you before?" He asked as I looked back up to look him right in to his chocolate brown eyes, his scruffy blonde hair brushed to one side "a few I guess" I said, this was getting into quite an embarrassing conversation, I don't like talking about my looks it just makes me go all red and then I really do look bad "that's impossible!a few!? I bet you have had someone say it to you 100 times!" I smiled at him as I turned around and started to begin walking through the aquarium again he walked beside me our legs moving at the same time and speed, he slipped his hand into mine as we walked along "ohhh look at that one" I said as I pointed at a beautiful blue fish, its beautiful colours standing out from the background "it's beautiful" Thomas replied "yea it is" I said, we studied the fish for a few minutes, following it around "look tiff I wanted to ask you something" Thomas said, his face looking very read and uncomfortable "what?" I asked smiling, I had an idea where this was going but I wasn't completely sure "do you like me?" He asked me He was shuffling his feet, his cheeks turning red, I didn't know what to say, it was like one of those questions where you don't know because
A. It's too early to even know
B. you don't like them
Or C. you do but you don't want to embarrass yourself and make a fool of everything
"Do you?" Thomas asked again after a few seconds, I rummaged deep inside of me, trying to find that little bit of hope that could blossom into something beautiful, "I, I guess I do" I said, Thomas smiled and pulled me into a hug "I'm so happy tiff" he muttered into my ear "so am i" I replied, I found that hope, I found it! I could already feel it blossoming inside of me.
