~Jennifer's POV

"Hello Jen! I'm so glad you can call me!" Ace said over the phone. "Anyway, did you win?"

"Yes, I did, Ace." I told him.

"Yes! I knew it! I'm so happy, Jen."

"Yeah, me too."

No, I wasn't.

"Anyway, congratulations, Jen, and I wish you all the best of luck, but then they're calling me for a shoot and I need this so I can be as famous as you, so, bye."

He hung up quickly. I got my bottle of beer and sipped a little bit.

"Hello. It's Jennifer, isn't it?" A guy behind me said. I turned around.

"Hi." I told him nervously. "Yeah, but you can just call me Jen."

He held a hand out so we can shake hands. "I'm Josh." I got his hand and shook it.

"I'm really sorry for running into you a while ago, I was in a rush and..."

"No, it's okay. That's why I hugged you tight."

"To say I was forgiven?"

"No, to get revenge." I told him with enough sarcasm. He laughed cutely and looked at the ground.

Damn, he hasn't changed much. He's still hot as ever.

"So, umm...I listened to your speech a while ago and I was very moved when you dedicated it to your friend who passed away." He told me while rubbing the back of his neck.

She was also your friend, Josh. She was your best friend. You just can't remember anymore.

"Really? Thank you." That's all I could think of saying. Even if I told him what I thought, he won't remember. It's not going to happen.

"You're welcome. Sara and I express our condolences."

"It's okay. She's not gone, Josh. She's just up in heaven. She's an angel."

"Do you mind if I ask about her? I'm also from Kentucky so maybe there's a chance that I know her."

"I don't mind." I told him, but I actually do mind, so I decided to change the topic. "Wow. I can't believe we're from the same state."

This was hard. I had to act like I've never seen Josh before - like he never became my friend, like he never became my boyfriend, like I never loved him...

"Yeah. It's quite amazing, too." The DJ started playing really loud music and Josh and I couldn't hear each other that much.

"It's quite noisy in here, why don't we go somewhere else?" I almost yelled at him because we couldn't hear each other.

"Yeah. I would like that." He told me, and he led upstairs to the rooftop of the small building. This place is so cool, I might add.

"Is this alright?" He asked me.

"Yeah. It is."

"So, what's your story?"

"Me?"

"Yeah, you. Tell me things about you." He told me, but then I was distracted of the couple kissing in the distance. That back, that hair...this guy seemed familiar.

"Wait a second." I told him.

"What?" He asked, and I moved his head in such a way that he could see the kissing couple.
