~Jennifer's POV

Oh. No.

I was on my way to a reporter when someone got in my way. I heard him apologize, and I told him that it was alright, but when I looked up, I saw him running.

Josh.

What is Josh doing here?

Wake up idiot, he's also an actor. Of course he's here.

But he isn't nominated for anything...

Maybe he's presenting or something?

Anyway, looking at him made me think of all the memories.

High school, school play, what happened after, and Jo.

How I miss her so much.

I went towards the reporter who was calling me a while ago.

"Hello everyone, we are now here with the lovely Jennifer Lawrence!" I gave the camera a smile and the reporter and I laughed a little.

"So, Jennifer, you have been nominated for an award today, for the Best Actress Category, am I right?" I gave her a nod. "You know, I honestly think that you have a shot at winning that award!"

"Really? Thank you." I told her. I can't really say anything more because I felt frozen. I still can't get over seeing Josh a while ago.

"So, Jennifer, what are you wearing for today?"

"Umm...I guess a dress that's not supposed to let me trip on anything tonight." We both laughed at what I said. Not so long ago, my foot got caught in my dress and it made me trip - in front of a lot of people. Since then, the embarrassing moment has been immortalized by the internet.

"Oh, Jennifer, I'll never get tired of your sense of humor!" She told me while she gave my shoulder a little pat. When the interview was done, we gave each other a hug and I went ahead to the venue. There were seats reserved for the nominees, so I looked for my seat. Luckily, I was able to find it before the show started. I had a chat with the others near me, and they all seemed fun.

All I could think of was Josh.

He doesn't remember you, Jen. He doesn't remember what happened to him. He doesn't know you anymore. You've seen him. You've been heartbroken. It's time to let go.

The lights suddenly dimmed and then the host came out.

"Welcome!" He said while wearing a grin that almost reached his ears. "Is everybody happy tonight?"

I'm not.

"Well, I can see that everyone here in the audience is ecstatic tonight. So, without further ado, our presenters for Movie of the Year!" Everyone, including me, gave a round of applause.

*flashback*

"Is he in there?" I told the doctor nervously.

"Who are you?" He asked me, and I didn't want to answer at first but then I thought this was necessary for me to see him.

"I'm one of his closest friends."

"I'm sorry. Only his close family is allowed to come in. Maybe after a few hours." He told me. I sat down on the bench near his room for two hours. His mom then came out of the room. I stood up and went towards her.

"How is he?" I asked her.

"Oh, Jennifer, it's been heartbreaking." She told me with tears in her eyes.
