~Jennifer's POV

I was still crying when I got to the plane. My manager was waiting for me there, and she saw that my eyes were puffy and everything else. I sat on the free seat near my manager, and I kept quiet during the entire trip.

"Are you still crying?" My manager asked me when the pilot said that we can now get out of our seats.

"No, I just got a little emotional. It's been a long time ever since I've been in Kentucky." I lied.

"Really, now?"

"Yeah. I went to a lot of places today."

"Must explain why you didn't immediately tell me that you were in Kentucky."

"Sorry." I mumbled under my breath. "But, how did you know I was here, anyway?"

"Well, I knew it because of one person."

Out of of nowhere, a woman went towards us.

"Mom?" I said in shock, I couldn't believe that she was here. We both hugged and I cried tears of joy.

"Jennifer, honey, didn't I tell you to tell your manager that you're here in Kentucky?" She said, but I was still crying.

"Honey, what's wrong?" She asked me, and I simply smiled at her.

"Nothing's wrong, mom." I told her.

"Are you sure?"

All of a sudden, my tears of joy became tears of sadness. My smile immediately turned upside down. Before I knew it, mom was hugging me again, and I was so sad.

"I'll give you two some privacy." My manager told us, then went away.

"Is it Josh, honey?" Mom asked me. I nodded in reply.

"What did you learn about his new life?"

"A lot, mom." I told her. "He's now two years younger than me, he's been an actor ever since he was 9 years old, he never met Jo or Ellie, he never went to high school, he never met me until this day." I sniffed. "The weird thing is, he's still the same. He's still the Josh I knew before. Nothing changed. Everything's so confusing."

"At least you were able to hang out with him, Jen."

"I know." I said sadly.

"So, what happened today?" She asked me with eager eyes.

"Is that supposed to make me happier?" I asked my mom, and she replied with a nod.

"Josh and I messed around in the kitchen. Then he had a nightmare, then we went on a date, then I told him everything about Jo with the hope that he will remember her or me, then he took me here at the airport."

"That's it?"

"Pretty much." I told her.

"You guys didn't, you know...?"

"Mom?! Seriously, he just met me for less than a day and you think that we did it?"

She laughed out loud. "You know that's not what I'm referring to, Jen."

"Yes, mom, we kissed, just before I came here." I told her, and she seemed satisfied.

"Really? Jen, that's so adorable! Give me a hug!" She said, and I laughed a little bit and gave her a hug. "The real question is, why are you still crying? It seemed like you had a great time with Josh."

"He still can't remember anything." I told her with a heavy heart. I found myself enveloped in her arms again.

"I'm so sorry, Jen. Don't worry, whatever happens, we are always here for you." She told me, and I hugged her tighter.

"Mom?"

"Yes?"

"Sorry I ruined your clothes." I told her when we pulled apart.

"It's okay, my dear. I'd rather see my clothes ruined than your life ruined." She said with a smile. "Now, you do know that you have an interview at 11?"

"Yeah, now what?"

"Your manager also got a hair and makeup team to style you up before the interview, and they get to do it here in the plane!"

"Seriously?" I asked her, and she was right, there were stylists around us now.

They made me sit on a chair in front of a huge mirror. They started fixing my hair and my makeup for the interview. Once again, my manager was instructing me on what to do and what not to do when I'm at the interview.

Too bad I wasn't listening.

In that plane, my life was back to the way it was before. Cameras all around, reporters chasing you, and more privileges that you can get when you're in LA.

Once I got out of the plane, there were people who were trying to get my picture and there were some people who wanted to ask questions. I, however, just ignore them and follow my manager. Luckily, there was a bodyguard and he kept us away from all the news media.

We got there in time, just enough for me to choose a dress from the wardrobe they prepared me.

And this is my life - cameras, reporters, clothes, stylists, managers, bodyguards, and best of all, acting.

Yet even with all of these combined, I still felt a hole deep inside my heart.
