~Josh's POV

Out of nowhere, Jen suddenly appeared in front of me. She was wearing my shirt over all the clothes she was wearing.

"So, umm, are you going to be shirtless for the rest of the journey?" She asked, looking shy.

"What? You like what you see?" I told her jokingly. She let out a laugh.

"Oh Josh, how dare you!" She said then blushed.

Damn, she's so perfect.

Jen and I walked slowly back to the car. We just had a deep conversation, that's all.

"So, are you feeling a lot better now, Jen?"

"Yeah. I mean, that swim was really fun."

"Yeah, I agree."

"And the six pack you're wearing is totally making me impressed."

"Why, thank you."

"I meant that as a joke."

I whistled like a cricket as a joke to tell her that her joke is not funny.

"What? There are crickets around here?" She said in question.

I did it again.

"Josh, you didn't tell me they had crickets here!" She said, so I looked at her and did it again. She did a fake pout.

"Are you doing that to tell me that my joke is not funny?"

I just laughed at her. She looked like a platypus, to be honest.

"I love it when you do that."

"Do what?"

"That face! You look like a platypus!" I told her.

"Well, I like it when you did the cricket thing." She told me, being honest.

We were almost at the end of the narrow path. Before I knew it, we were holding hands.

I didn't want to let go.

"So, where do we go next?" I asked Jen.

"Well, we went to your bad mood place, so why don't we go to my bad mood place?"

"You have one, too?"

"Well, it's not exactly mine but it's where I went with Gregory after Jo's funeral."

"Gregory? The pizza guy this morning?"

"Yeah. He's the one."

"Wow. So basically, it's his bad mood place."

"Yup."

"Okay, take me there then." I told her then gave her the keys.

While we were on our way to the place, I turned the radio on. To my surprise, Believe by Cher started playing.

"Oh my gosh, I love this song!" Jen said, and I have this feeling that she was going to sing along.

"No matter how hard I try, you keep pushing me aside--" Jen started singing.

"And I can't break through, there's no talking to you." I sang along.

"You know this song, too?" She asked in awe.

"Yeah. Why?"

"I love singing this so much!"

Then the chorus started.

"DO YOU BELIEVE IN LIFE AFTER LOVE? I CAN FEEL SOMETHING INSIDE ME SAY 'I REALLY DON'T THINK IT'S STRONG ENOUGH NOW'"

I bet people behind us were complaining why we were so slow. To my surprise, Jen pulled up. We started listening to the rest of the song until...

"DO YOU BELIEVE IN LIFE AFTER LOVE? I CAN FEEL SOMETHING INSIDE ME SAY 'I REALLY DON'T THINK IT'S STRONG ENOUGH NOW'"

We were just singing along to the song like no one's there. Well, technically, we're the only ones who could hear ourselves singing along to the song. When the song ended, we decided to go ahead and continue with our journey.

The next song was Amnesia by 5 Seconds of Summer, and for some reason, I was daydreaming about the day when I found myself on a hospital bed, clueless of what was happening...

*flashback* (A/N To avoid confusion, this was written on his perspective when he still didn't know that the girl who visited him was Jen)

My head was in pain. I looked around and saw that I was in a hospital bed. I started to move my hands. People started coming towards my bed. Their eyes looked puffy and red, indicating that they were crying before they got here.

"He's awake!" One of them said.

"I'm sorry, but who are you?" I asked her politely.

"Josh, it's me, your mom." She said, looking at me intimately with her eyes.

"My mom?" I asked.

"Yes, honey. She's your mom, and I'm your dad." Another person told me. He looked confused as if I've lost my memory or something?

"What is happening?" I asked them, then they called a doctor.

"So, what's your name?" The doctor asked me.

"I don't know." I said. He then explained everything.

I was in an accident. I hit my head really hard, that's why I couldn't remember anything that happened or anyone I met.

My head was still in pain, I asked if I could just sleep for a bit, then I slept.

I didn't have a dream. I just woke up, and there was another person in the room. She started hugging me, but I had no idea who she was.

"Who are you?" I asked while she was still hugging me. She pulled away from the hug she did.

"Josh, you don't remember me?" She asked me.

"Who are you? Why are you hugging me?"

Realizing what she did, she walked out of the room, and my mom went after her.

I didn't know what happened next, but the girl never came back, so I guess that was the first and last time that I will meet her.

After being in the hospital for what seemed like forever, I was discharged.

When we got home, my parents showed me videos of my past - my first few steps, my first Christmas, my first Christmas with my little brother, and best of all, all the movies I have starred in.

We watched each and every single one, and I swore never again. I felt awkward watching even just a single glimpse of me. Everything seemed to be so real, and I couldn't believe that I have starred in all those films just to do what I love and help my family at the same time.

But, to be honest, I still felt that there was a missing hole in my heart, like I missed someone so dearly. Getting those realistic dreams don't seem to help either - they just made me doubt more than usual.

*end of flashback*
