The light shines brightly in my eyes reflection off the water I strip off my clothes and
dive into the water my skin aglow, hair floating weightlessly suddenly, something.
BLASTS past me. I spin. It's gone. Something BLASTS behind me. I again to find

I can take his hand; arms wrap around my waist from behind and I'm pulled away and
Emmett is thrown backwards. I bolts awake. In that split second, in the darkness, I see
Emmett, watching me. I snap on the light and the room is empty was I still dreaming.

Bella stands in the same spot where tyler's van almost hit us i can feel the fear radiating
off her mike walks up to us.
"Make sure I get your permission slips Mr. Molina says.''
"I'll leave you guys alone Bella can I have your slip.'' she nods handing it to me i walk
Towards Mr. Molina
"This is Mine and Bella's i say.''
"Thank you Miss Swan.''
"It's Miss Amaris Swan I say.''
"Oh I thought it was a middle name Mr. Molina says.''
"No my middle name is April I say.'' he nods his head
Mr. Molina and a Tour Guide lead several dozen kids through the greenhouse. Bella keeps
an eye on Edward who's up ahead with Alice and Jasper. Mr. Molina demonstrates the compost
machine as the students mess around.
"Compost tea.This is recycling at its most basic level Mr. Molina says.''
Tyler takes the cup and tries to drink it
"hey, don't drink that!''

"Tyler I swear to god if you spill that on me I will kill you.'' he laughs and spill some on my
Jacket accidentally
"Tyler what the hell i say.'' I stumble over the irrigation hose a hand grips my elbow helping me back up
"It helps if you actually watch where you put your feet Emmett says.''
"Shut up I say.'' pulling my arm away from him i keep moving he catches up to me keeping is strides long
"I know I've been rude, but it's for the best he says.'' i look at him like he's crazy
"it would be better if we weren't friends emmett says.''
"Too bad you didn't figure that out earlier I say.'' his aura is broken shattered i can't pick up a reading '
" You always do that focus off in random moments of time he says.''
"You could have let the van crush me and saved yourself all this regret I say.'' throwing my hands
In the air and changing the subject
"You think I regret saving you?'' he turns to me angrily the red of his aura reaching out to me
"You must I say.''
"You don't know anything he says.''
"Whatever I'm done with the conversation I say.'' whipping around he grabs my arm and tilts my chin
Upwards towards him
"I don't regret saving you," he says.
Bella storms towards us
"Let's go she says.'' pulling my arm
"Oww i say.'' ripping her fingers off me

I push through the doors. I glanced over at the Cullen table , Emmett is sitting with his siblings. He doesn't look at me. As Bella and I walk towards our table I throw my bag in the chair.
"La Push, baby. You in Eric asks?''
"Should we know what that means Bella asks?''
"La Push beach, down on the Quileute rez I say.''
"Ya we're all going after school. Big swell coming in Eric says.''
"And I don't just surf the internet Mike says.'' standing up on the table like hes surfing i push
His shoulders so he's sitting back down
"You stood up once. On a foam board Jessica says.''
"There's whale watching, too. Come with Angela says.''
"La Push, baby it's La Push Eric says.'' I grab a carrot from mikes tray and through it at him
"We will go if you stop saying that I say.'' getting up to go get food
I have a whole bowl of a very architectural salad.
"Edible art.. Emmett whispers.'' Startled, I fumble back into his chest and drop my bowl with one grab. He catches it and hands it back to me with a smile.
"Thanks your mood swings are giving me whiplash.''
"I said it would be better if we weren't friends, not that I didn't want to be Emmett says.''
"Yes because that makes so much sense I say.'' putting my arms on the counter now staring at him
"If you were smart, you'd avoid me," Emmett inadvertently glances at his four siblings, who wait for him, expectantly, at their table. Their auras mixing into a yellowish shade, he realizes how close he is to me and steps backwards. I glance at my friends who are monitoring this conversation from their table. Tyler glows red with jealousy.
"Let's say I'm not smart then what would you do.''
"Be your friend he says.''
" Fine, come to the beach with us. It'll be fun - sand fleas, wind burn, salt water stinging your eyes I say.'' he grins at my sarcasm
" Which beach he asks?''
"La Push.'' his smile drops
"Something wrong with that beach I ask?''
" It's just a little crowded he says.''
"I grew up on the Res it's not but whatever i say.'' walking away

I missed half the conversation we are having zoning out
"Bella a voice calls!''
I looked up to see three Quileute boys approaching the group; Jacob ,and Jared and Embry .
"Guys, this is Jacob. Are you stalking me Bella asks?''
"You're on my rez, remember? You surfing he asks?.'' shoulder checking me
"Absolutely not I say.''
I see a figure walking towards us out of the corner of my eye. I can feel their presence almost like I'm being pulled towards them.
"Umm Hi Paul says.'' the three boys scoff at him being here, I smack jared shoulder
"Hello I say.''
"Sorry to bother you why you are with friends he says.''
"It's fine do you need something I ask.''
"I was hoping i could borrow you actually he says.'' scratching the back of his neck he's nervous his aura still that same heavenly color
"Sure I say.'' pushing myself off the Van
"I'll be back guys.'' Jacobs' aura is pulling at me; he doesn't want me to leave. I send him a reassuring smile before walking away with Paul.
