song A Thousand Funerals

"Distraction I ask?'' Alice nods I walk up to the counter flipping my hair and pushing up my boobs.

"Hello I say.''

"Well Hello he says.''

"My boyfriend.. Well he's not my boyfriend came in here looking for a car.''

"Well if he left you alone he must be stupid he says.'' I chuckle twirling my hair around my fingers

"Have you seen him he's blonde I say." a car revs outside Lucas looking out the window

"Found him I say.'' walking outside we take off

"Where'd you get the car Bella asks?"

"Hope you're not opposed to grand theft

Auto Alice says.''

"Not Today she says.'' I grab her hand giving it a tight squeeze

"How much time do we have I ask?''

"There waiting till noon, when the sun's

at its highest Alice says.''

"He's going to make the Volturi change their minds Lucas says.'' looking at me in the rearview mirror

"It's almost noon now bella says.''

"There's Volterra Lucas says.'' slamming on the breaks

The narrow, centuries-old streets are crowded with festival

revellers who all wear RED. They gaily head toward the town

square carrying red pendants, balloons, scarves. The

PORSCHE weaves through them, hurrying forward

"Why are they all in red I ask?'

"San Marcos Day festival. The perfect setting. Large crowds. The Volturi

won't let them get far enough to reveal themselves - there counting on that Alice says.''

"We only have five minutes Bella says.''

"Where's the square I ask?''

"Follow that lane Lucas says.'' we take off running

"They will be under the clock tower Alice yells.''

We race down the cobble-stoned alleys, stumbling on the

uneven stones. Festival revellers head in the same

direction, we maneuver around them. As we nears the square, the alleys become more populated. We push past people "excuse me," "sorry."

Finally, we emerge into a sea of scarlet flags, dresses and jackets.

On the other side of the crowded square - the clock tower it reads one minute before noon.

We charge forward to find ourselfves blocked by A FOUNTAIN - Suddenly, GONG! The clock tower bells chime.

"It's noon!"

Bella jumps into the fountain, wades through the shallow

water to the other side I follow her -- we jump out and barrels through

the crowd.Edward and Emmett, in the shadows, just inches from the sunlight.

"Emmett I yell!"

He takes a step into the sunlight, the rays hitting his

shoe, but before the sun touches his skin I slam my body into him it's like hitting a brick wall

"Heaven he says.'' wrapping his arms around me
