Esme approaches and embraces Bella and I warmly.
"I already think of you as part of the family. Yes Esme says."
"Thank you, Esme.''
"Edward, Emmett Carlise says.''
"You can't go along with this, Carlisle, you know what it means Edward says.''
"You've chosen not to live without them, which leaves me no choice. I won't
lose my sons."
"But Alice and Lucas have never turned anyone It'd be safer if I did it he says.'' the door opens and slams the boys are gone

We are driving down the road when Someone stands in the road directly in front of them --
it's Paul. He glares, then turns and walks into the woods.
"What is he doing Emmett asks?"
"He wants to talk I say.''
"Perfect Emmett says.'' flashing out of the jeep
"Emmett I say.'' running after him
"Let him talk to me first I say.''
We tramp through the woods to find Paul
leaning against a tree. His expression is hard.
"Your still alive he says.''
"I've been calling you I say.''
"Could of just stopped by he says.''
"Dad grounded me, Paul. We're trying to get back before he wakes up."
Paul doesn't buy it. But Emmett takes a step toward Paul. Calm. Diplomatic.
"Paul,I know you have something to say to me, but I'd like to say
something first. Alright?"
Paul leans back against the tree, arms folded, waiting.
"Thank you. For keeping Bryn alive when I... didn't."
"No, you didn't. And it wasn't for your benefit, trust me."
"No it wasn't but I'm still grateful. But I'm back now. And I'm not leaving
Bryn's side till she orders me away."
"We'll see Paul says."
"Either way, we'll handle Victoria from here on out Emmett says."
"She's been laying low. Ever since your freaky sister and Brother showed up. Guess
she can't stand you Cullens either.'' his coldness wounds me
"She'll come back.''
"She does, she's ours.She killed on our turf.''
"We'll see Emmett replies.''
"My turn to talk. I'm here to remind you about a key point in the Treaty."
"We haven't forgotten I say.''
"Good Paul says.''
"But... if it's chosen,, it's none of your business I say."

"Bryn Emmet warns.'' i put my hand up to him

Emmett shifts stance, as well, readying for a fight
"Enough I say.'' running and standing in the middle of them
"You do this, you'll be going through me.''
A long tense beat, none of them backing down
"I swear to God, I'm not moving."
"Go emmett I say.'' he gives me a concerned look
"Please i got it under control I say."
"Paul, I love you.But... I can't change how I
feel. Please don't make me choose."

"You okay Emmett asks?"
"Ya I just..." my voice cracks he sits down next to me wrapping his arms around me
"I thought she died, like really died how could she do this to me I say.''
"I have no idea, but if it comes down to it you'll do the same thing to charlie he says.''
"If it comes down to it I want you to do it I say.''
"I don't know if I can he says.''
"Please I say.''

"Because I don't believe you've lost yours. And I want to share mine with
