Song Monster hurricane bells
We pull up to a tiny,weathered house with a window box full of marigolds. Jared,
jumps out, opens Bella's door. We all head toward the house. She doesn't move.
"Pay up he didn't puke I say.''
"Jesucristo bien Jared says.'' handing me five dollars
"Gracias I say.''
"Wait. We should go back, make sure Jacob's okay Bella says.''
"I hope Paul gets some teeth in him.Serve him right Jared says.''
"No way. Jake's a natural. You see him phase on the fly? I gotta fiver
says Paul doesn't touch him Embry says.''
"Agreed I say.''
"Easy money. Paul's been at it longer Jared says.''
"You got yourself another bet I say.'' reaching out my hand Jared shakes it
"Betting against the imprint huh?"
"Not so happy with him I say.'' Embrys rubs my shoulders
"Look I don't know why he said what he did?"
"Me either I say.''
"Especially after you guys had coito jared said.''
"You guys had sex Bella says.'' finally exiting the truck
"That's the word you pick up Embry says.'' chuckling
"Yea and how would you know I ask?''
"Wolf thing Jared says.'' his eyes flicking down to my chest
"Perve I say.'' shoving him he chuckles
"Come on in. We won't bite Embry says.''
"Speak for yourself Jared states.'' walking into the house Embry and I following I pause at the door
"You coming Bells I ask?'' she gives me a questioning look I sigh grabbing her arm and walking her into the house
Emily at the counter popping out fresh muffins
"You guys hungry? Like I have to ask she says.'' the boys grab the muffins Embry goes to take one I smack his hand
"Ladies first I say.''
"Who's this Emily asks?" looking at Bella
"Bella Swan. Who else Jared questions?"
"So you're the vampire girl Emily says.''
"And you're a... you're all.''
"Werewolves? I'm just engaged to one.But these animals.." she slaps Embrys hand
"Save some for your brother.'' he raises his hand in the air
"What did I do he asks?''
"You were born I say.'' he rolls his eyes Bella cautiously approaches the counter, keeping an eye on the door.
"Oh hermana emily says.'' giving me a hug
"Leave it to jacob to get around Sam's gag orders Emily says.'' kissing my forehead
"He didn't say anything, or...couldn't bella says.''
"That's a wolf thing. Alpha's orders get obeyed whether we want to or not Embry says.'' jared slaps his chest
"How 'bout you shut up now, Embry?''
"You know Jacob's gonna fill her in.''
"Yeah, I know every stupid thought he has.''
"Wanna know what he thinks of you he asks?''
"Like you need special powers to know that I say." Bella looks at me confused
"It's another wolf thing. We hear each other's thoughts. Good for hunting.
Embarrassing for everything else Enbry says." looking at me
"Ughhh I say.'' throwing my head on the counter
"Freaking out yet Jared asks?''
"You're not the first -- mind reader= I've met Bella says.''
"Jake's right she's good with weird Jared states.''
"But I don't get -- how? Why?"
"Because there are bad things here Sam says.''
Bella spins Sam is now standing behind her, the front door
open behind him.
"And they're getting worse.'' Sam moves past her to Emily - the sight
of her instantly warms his face. He kisses Emily's scarred face adoringly. Bella looks
Away. Her pain rushed through my body to Jacob and Paul's arrive. They laugh and jab one another.Bella is relieved to find Jacob unscathed. Jared and Embry
crowd them, finding a scar on Paul's arm
"Ha. Pay up Embry says.'' As Jared reluctantly hands Embry five bucks
"Hey me to I say.'' he rolls his eyes and hands me another five
"Your girl is peddling my money," Jared says.'' Paul looks at me his aura is heavenly he walks towards me
"Hi beautiful he says.'' wrapping his arms around me I can't help but melt into his arms
"What do you say.''
"Sorry he says.'' to Bella Jacob's eyes find Bella's. He nods solemnly to the door
"Go I mouth." Paul turns back to me
"I'm sorry to he says."
"It's fine I say.''
"No I was mad I shouldn't of said it he says.'' kissing my cheek and then nuzzling into my neck

"Excellent. If the redhead's after Bella and Bryn, we've got bait Jared says.''
With stunning speed, Jacob grabs his fork, and FLINGS it toward Jared's head -
Jared easily, and amazingly, catches it.
"There not bait Jacob says.''
A picnic table in the middle of this small,
quaintly landscaped garden. Jacob, Bella, Embry, Paul, Sam,
Jared and Emily and I are in the midst of a huge breakfast.
"We could leave town I suggest.''
"Absolutely not Paul says.''
"Victoria will follow you and make it harder for us to catch her Sam says.''
"No one can catch her. She can escape anything Bella says.''
"Ooh. She has special powers Paul says.''
"Some of them do Bella says.'' everyone looks at her
"Like... what? Bella Jacob asks?" no reply
"Bryn Paul asks?"
"The mind reader you said you knew. Hewas a suckhead? Can they all do that Jared asks?"
"That would blow Embry says."
"No, I -- shouldn't have - no Bella says.''
"There still still protecting them Embry says.''
"I don't know why. It's not like they stuck around to protect you-'' Paul cuts Jared off
"Back off Paul says.''
