NEW YORK - VIOLET'S HOME

As the soft rays of morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, Violet stirred from her sleep, blinking groggily as she slowly came to consciousness. Stretching her limbs beneath the cozy warmth of her blankets, she yawned and rubbed her eyes, feeling the remnants of yesterday's turmoil still lingering in her mind.

Pushing herself upright, Violet swung her legs over the edge of the bed and ran a hand through her tousled hair. She took a deep breath, steeling herself for the day ahead, determined to make amends for the events of last night.

With a sense of purpose, Violet rose from her bed and made her way to the kitchen, her footsteps echoing softly against the hardwood floors. As she reached for the kitchen door, she froze in surprise at the sight of Ryan sitting in the living room, a mischievous grin spreading across his face as he caught sight of her.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty," Ryan teased, his voice filled with playful amusement as he lounged on the couch, a mug of coffee in hand.

Violet's eyes widened in surprise at the sight of Ryan. She couldn't help but smile at the sight of him, his easygoing demeanor bringing a sense of comfort to her nervous morning.

"Ryan? What are you doing here?" Violet asked, her voice tinged with disbelief as she approached him, her curiosity piqued. "I thought you were still in Europe."

Ryan pulled her into a warm hug, squeezing her tight before pulling away to look at her with a twinkle in his eye. "Well, I missed my favorite girl too much, so I decided to surprise her," he explained, his tone filled with mock seriousness. "Plus, I heard you were in need of some of my expert advice on how to not stress over dance teachers."

Violet couldn't help but laugh at Ryan's sarcasm, feeling a sense of warmth and comfort wash over her at the sound of his voice.

Violet's heart swelled with warmth at Ryan's words, feeling a sense of joy and gratitude wash over her at the sight of him. "I missed you too," she murmured, her voice soft with emotion as she returned his hug.

As they pulled away, Ryan grinned down at her, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "So, how about we grab a quick breakfast before your dance class?" he suggested, his tone eager and enthusiastic. "Your mom told me you have class at 11, she had to head out with Cosmo real quick, but Colin is in his studio if you need anything."

Violet's face lit up with excitement at the prospect. "That sounds perfect," she agreed, her voice filled with enthusiasm "Just let me get dressed and get my things!" She quickly hurried to her room.

A while later, as Violet prepared to leave, she couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that gnawed at her conscience. She knew that she needed to make things right with Rose, to apologize for her harsh words and mend the rift that had formed between them. Taking a deep breath to steady her nerves, she made her way to Rose's room, steeling herself for the conversation that lay ahead.

Knocking softly on Rose's door, Violet waited anxiously for a response, her heart pounding in her chest. When the door creaked open, revealing Rose's tear-stained face peeking out from

behind it, Violet felt a pang of sorrow grip her heart. She could see the apprehension in Rose's eyes, the lingering hurt from their argument still evident in her expression.

"Hey, Rose," Violet began softly, her voice tinged with regret as she met her sister's gaze. "I... I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for what happened last night. I shouldn't have yelled at you like that."

Rose's eyes widened in surprise at Violet's apology, her lips parting in disbelief. She hadn't expected Violet to come to her room, let alone apologize for her actions. But as she took in Violet's sincere expression, the walls she had built around her heart began to crumble, replaced by a glimmer of hope and forgiveness.
