Chapter 9: Serious talk

After Cindy had been there for her younger brother for the paternity test they went home, they were told it'd be one to two business days to figure out just what was going on. They gave their best wishes to Natsu before the four of them left out. As they went into their separate cars Cindy could hear Nami's wailing from where she was in Jafar's car. So she got up before Jafar could start his car up and went to where her brother was.

He looked nervous, he was frantically pulling at his hair unsure of what to do. She hit him upside the head before she grabbed a bottle from the side of the diaper bag before giving it to the child. The child instantly stopped crying and had held onto the bottle rather quickly. Natsu was shocked that his sister knew what his daughter wanted. "How...How did you know?"

"It wasn't too long ago you were a baby too bro. I know it might not seem it but you two aren't that far from being different. You both shut up when you're being fed." Cindy joked.

Natsu glared at his sister playfully. "Oh hardy har har sis...Maybe Linda is right. Maybe I don't deserve to be a father. Even though I've always wanted to be one. I don't think that I- OW! Cindy what the fuck?" Natsu said as he rubbed where he had been hit rather hard by the elder white haired female.

"Let me tell you this right now, that woman doesn't know how to be a mother. If Nami is yours then you're going to be asking for a shit ton of problems from CPS leaving your poor baby girl with that woman. She can't feed her, she can't love her or give her a steady loving safe environment. Those things she has no concept of. I assure you that you're the Only one out of the two of you that can properly take care of Nami. Now we're going to go home and you're going to learn how to take care of your child properly. As your elder sister and a person who loves and adores children I'm not letting you fuck this up brother." Cindy said seriously

Natsu nodded his head sadly. "O...Okay Cin, I'll follow the two of you back home."

"Good. That bottle should last her for the trip back, if she cries again she probably will need to be burped then changed."

"Which I can do at home right?"

"Of course. See you at the house bro."

Cindy then sighed as she went back to Jafar's car and went back to the passenger seat. Jafar looked at her concerned. "Will you be alright?"

"Yeah, just I feel like I'm playing mother with my brother again." Cindy said as she looked at Jafar.

He held her hand within his. "It'll be okay I promise. Everything will work out just you wait and see."

"I hope so. I don't want my brother to get attached to a child that isn't even his. He doesn't need that shit." Cindy said shaking her head sadly

Jafar started his car up before driving home, once he had the two of them began to talk about a different topic all together. "So what do you think about becoming a mother yourself? You have the experience for it?" Jafar asked looking to her slightly

She hummed out a bit before she spoke. "I don't think that now is a good idea for something like that. But let's just say for the sake of us talking, if a certain someone married me before that happened...maybe I wouldn't be totally against it." She said in thought

"So you wouldn't want to be a mother before you married?" Jafar asked

She nodded her head. "That's exactly it, I'd like to be able to have a stable relationship with the man I am with and know that he'll always be there at my side throughout the hellish nine months that'll take during the pregnancy plus the many years after that to help me out with whatever child comes out of me."
