Chapter 14: The moment of truth

Two weeks had gone and past before Natsu took Cindy in for the operation, Cindy waited for Natsu to fill out why she was in the doctors before he spoke to her once more about the procedure that he would do on her. One she knew everything that would be done to her. He let her undress into the gown before she lied down on the medical bed. She was then taken into the E.R where she was knocked out before Natsu began to work on the procedure to save his elder sister.

His hands kept shaking from being nervous of fucking up, he didn't want his elder sister to be mute anymore. He missed hearing her nagging at him and telling him what he was doing wrong. He missed hearing her singing lullaby's to him when he had nightmares. He knew if he was ever going to get his sister back to 'normal' that he was going to have to try his damnedest to make the procedure work. After Ten plus hours of working on his sister-it was complete. He had saved his sisters voice the only thing was to see if she could actually talk when she woke up.

Which didn't take long a half hour afterwards she woke up and when she saw Natsu she smiled at him. "Natsu..."Cindy said scratchily

Her brown eyes widen in utter shock as she covered her mouth. Natsu chuckled a bit. "I figured that would happen, you haven't spoken in a while sis. Here, drink this." Natsu said as he handed her a water bottle

She nodded her head and drank the bottle before she spoke again "Thank you. Where's Ja'far?"

"He's in the waiting room with Nami, he didn't want to go anywhere without knowing that you'd be okay. Now that I know you can talk you're free to go. I'll deal with everything else since this was my idea sis."

Cindy got up and hugged her younger brother. "You are the best Natsu, thank you."

"thank you for trusting me, honestly I didn't think you would."

"You're family-so of course I trust you." She said happily.

Natsu then let her get herself dressed as he dealt with her paper work to get her out of the hospital. When she got out of the room she was in she went to the desk only for her brother to wave her to leave. She thanked him before she left out, when she did she saw that Ja'far's back was to her so she placed her hands over his eyes. "Guess who."

She felt Ja'far stiffen hearing her voice before he placed his hands over hers. "Cindy...you got your voice back?!"

She giggled and got her hands from his eyes getting him to get up only to cup her face and kiss her on the lips. "I'm so glad that you have your voice back sweetie, let's go back home."

"Mhm, I'd like that Ja'far."She said happily

When they left out Ja'far held onto her left hand with his right hand. Cindy was more than happy to hold his hand as she leaned up against his arm. When they got home Ja'far placed Nami to sleep before he looked to Cindy and kissed her on the lips as he pushed her up against the wall. She happily kissed him back as her hands landed against his chest. "J-Ja'far..."

"I can't help myself Cindy...I've missed hearing your beautiful voice. It's been too long since we've been able to be with one another peacefully like this."

"If I go on from this...you won't stray from me...that I'll be the only one you go to from here on out."

Ja'far pressed his forehead against hers. "You'll be my first and only Cindy. I'd never look at another girl the way that I look at you. I promise you that with every fiber of my being."

Cindy looked at him dead in the eyes before she gave him a half smile. "Okay...if that's what you're willing to promise. I...I can give myself to you. Just...this will be strange for me. I've never done anything like that with anyone before." She said bashfully.

Ja'far chuckled a bit as he smiled at her. "It's the same with me, I only know a bit of what I need to do. Let's start by having you be somewhere you feel comfortable."

"Comfortable? I guess the only place that I do is in my own room."

He let her go to her room and once they were there he shut the door, he kissed her once more as he slowly began to strip her of her clothes, as he did she did the same to him rather nervously. Once they both were in their underwear he picked her up and placed her on the bed before he looked at her body up and down. "You know, I wish you wouldn't wear baggy clothes, you have such a beautiful figure."

She blushed as she looked up at him. "I...I don't think I am, that's why I cover myself as I do."

"Is that so? Maybe I can help you change how you see yourself Cindy." Ja'far said before he slipped her panties off of her body.
