Chapter 19:Date Night

Cindy was stunned to hear such a question from him, did he truly want to spend the rest of his life with her? Cindy was flabbergasted knowing that he had asked her the question so soon after they had gotten together. Even though they had know each other basically all of their lives, they knew what the other went through together. They had lasted as long as they had as friends even with their small fall out and even went as far as being boyfriend/ girlfriend with one another.

Cindy smiled as she held onto Ja'far's hand tightly. "Y-Yes...I...I'd love to Ja'far."

Ja'far let out a sigh of relief hearing what she said to him. He had his doubts, he knew it was all on him that they had their fall out to begin with. Ja'far knew that if she said 'no' to him, that their relationship wasn't going to last long. All he ever wanted was to spend the rest of the life with the beautiful young woman that he had intertwined his life with. Jafar smiled a bit as he slipped the ring from inside of the box onto her left hand before he kissed the top of it softly. "You're never getting rid of me, I hope you realize you're going to be stuck with me for life."

As Ja'far spoke up, he looked her dead in the eyes. Cindy smiled sincerely as she looked at Ja'far. "Like I'd want to Ja'far, you mean so much to me." As she spoke, he stiffened a bit as he felt her foot going from his thigh to brushing up against the front of his pants.

"C-Cin...If you want to keep that beautiful dress you have, on you. I suggest you remove your foot from where it is."

Cindy let out a small chuckle, "I have no idea what you're talking about." She said as she retracted her foot before he could grab it

He narrowed his emerald eyes at her. "Brat. "

Cindy had a small sincere smile upon her face as their food came to the table. "I have no idea what you're talking about Ja'far." She said innocently

He waited until the waiter had left out before he raised an eyebrow at her. "Oh really? Was earlier not enough to put you in your place?"

"Again, I have no idea what you're talking about dearest." She said with a smile

Ja'far said nothing more as they had their dinner, as they did Cindy heard the familiar voice of her brother and looked around only to see not far from them was her brother and his date. Cindy looked back towards Ja'far. "Did Natsu know that you were going to this restaurant with me?" Cindy asked curiously

Ja'far shook his head as he finished taking a sip of his drink. "No, I didn't tell him where I was taking you. Why do you ask sweetie?"

"Turn around, three tables down is my brother and his date."

Ja'far looked stunned and quickly turned around before he stiffened up. "Oh shit..."

Cindy looked at Ja'far confused. "Is something wrong babe?"

"Yeah...I need to be honest with you. You aren't the first woman I've dated you're the second. The first was the girl your brother is currently on a date with."

"Who ended it?"

"I did."

"May I ask why?"

"She tried to baby trap me into being with her by fake being pregnant when her and I never even went that far with one another. You're the only woman that I've ever done that with." Ja'far stated

"Where does she work if she does?" Cindy asked

"She's unemployed last I knew, Sinbad had fired her from being the art teacher when she had tried to date one of her students by force."

"Oh shit..."

"Yeah I found that out while her and I were still dating, so the fact that your brother is with her is going to make things...interesting to say the least." Ja'far said as he looked down before he looked at Cindy to see that she had her phone out. "what are you doing?"

"Letting my brother know not to let his guard down around that woman, and giving him the information you just told me. I'm still that boy's elder sister I have the right to be protective over him." Cindy said seriously as she was typing on her phone

"Y-You're not angry at me for dating some other woman?" Ja'far asked confused

"Why the hell would I be angry at you for that? I dated two assholes before I ended up with you sweet heart, I have no room to judge you for your lack of taste in women." Cindy said as she looked up from her phone looking him dead in the eyes

He let out a sigh "Yeah...I guess you're right about that."

"How far did you go with that woman anyways?"

"Not far, we held hands and I gave her kisses on the cheek but that's about it."

"I see...well I hope what I just sent to my brother he truly takes my advice to heart."

"Wait what the hell?" Ja'far and Cindy heard Natsu say before he got up

It wasn't long before Natsu spotted the duo and went up to them. "So that's how you knew who my date was...are you spying on me sis?"

"Bro we were here before you two were. We have our food and are almost done, Ja'far had no idea where you were going and he told me that he never told you where he'd take me."

Natsu averted his eyes "Yeah...guess you're right on that." He said with a sigh before he looked at Ja'far "So you seriously dated Jenna?"

"I did yes, she is bad news. She'll try to take Nami from you as well as your money. She is probably unemployed after what had happened with her when her and I were dating. You can't trust her or her words." Ja'far said with a nod of his head

"People change with time, so I'll keep that in mind but for now I want to see what she'll do."

Cindy looked at him unamused. "I thought you told me earlier that you'd listen to me about my intuition this time around?"

Natsu averted his eyes as he let out a sigh. "C'mon...Can't I just finish the date?"

"Sure, but ask her about her past. I told you everything Ja'far told me about their past together...hell even mention him by name and see what her response is. If she tells you the truth then you can continue dating her. But if she lies you need to part from her."

"I can work with that sis." Natsu said before he went back to the table

Cindy shook her head as she sighed out. "That idiot."

"I have to agree with you on that, no doubt he doesn't understand just what is going on with her. Let's finish eating, our date isn't done just yet."

Cindy nodded her head, as they finished eating their dinner Ja'far got up to pay for their meals as Cindy was waiting by the exit for him. While she waited she saw the red haired female that was attempting to date Natsu go up to Ja'far.
