Chapter 20: The Horrible Ex

"Ja'far...is that really you?"

Ja'far let out a sigh as he looked at the red haired female. "Evening Jenna, why are you coming close to me? Aren't you on a date?"

"H-How...How did you know that?"

Ja'far looked at her unamused. "Really? you're going to be like that Jenna." He said before he sighed out. "The white haired male you are with is the younger brother to my fiancee. She had noticed he was here with you and his daughter. So why are you getting close to me?"

Jenna frowned hearing that he was engaged to someone already. "I...I'm only around him until I found you again. I...I know what I had done was wrong. But I still love you."

"You are a sick woman to think that I'd ever want to be around you again. You tried to sleep with a minor!" Ja'far hissed out annoyed "The love I used to have for you was lost the moment I saw you try to push yourself onto that child! If you aren't going to be loyal to my fiancee's younger brother then I suggest you do both you and him a favor and tell him honestly why you are around him. See just how quick he is to leave you."

"J...Just who did you end up being engaged to?"

Cindy could see that Ja'far was having trouble getting the female away from him, so she walked up to him and hugged his arm tightly, letting her left hand show the ring that she wore. "Ja'far dearie are you alright?" She asked curiously

Ja'far looked down at Cindy and looked at her pleadingly, wishing for her help to get the red haired female away from him. "No." Was all he said

Jenna's eyes widened seeing that it was the shy, loner Senior and Freshman English Teacher that had managed to get engaged to him. "Her?! Really Ja'far!?" Jenna said angered

Cindy's eyes narrowed before she went up to the female leaving a bit of space between the two of them. "Listen here Jenna. Keep your eyes and hands from my fiance. Go back to my baby brother Natsu and his baby girl Nami before we have an issue. You had your chance to be around him and you chose not to keep your hands to yourself." Cindy said seriously

"Like I'd actually believe that a bitch like you has a little brother, you probably overheard the conversation that I had with him to know his name and the name of his child."

At that time Natsu came by with his daughter. "Jenna why are you talking shit to my sister for?"

Jenna's blue eyes widened hearing Natsu speak. "W-Wait what?! S-She really is your sister?! Y-You two look nothing alike!"

"That shouldn't matter, answer me Jenna."

"I...I w-well...Y-You see Natsu.."Jenna said stuttering a bit

"Told you Natsu. Next time when I warn you about someone listen to me you dope!" Cindy said hissing out with her eyes narrowed before she looked at Ja'far with a small smile "Let's go, we don't need to be here anymore right?"

"Yeah, I already paid for our meals." Ja'far said with a nod of his head

The two of them left out of the restaurant before going to Ja'far's car. Ja'far cupped her face and kissed her on the lips passionately. "I love you so damn much sweetie."

Cindy smiled as she heard him speak. "I love you too Ja'far. You stand up for me so I wish to do the same darling."

Ja'far pressed his forehead against her softly "I'm so glad that I have you with me Cin."

Cindy just smiled at him as she held onto his jacket. "Does that mean that I'm off the hook with you tonight?"

He kissed her on the lips once more as his hands went from her face to her waist as he pushed himself up close to her. She whimpered out as she felt him pressed up against her, once he pulled away from her, he gave her a sincere smile. "Not a chance darling, you've bratted out too much for me to ignore."

As he pulled away from her, Natsu and Jenna had came out of the restaurant. Ja'far had unlocked his car before he helped Cindy in before he went to the drivers side. While he did he clearly heard Natsu arguing with Jenna. 

"...don't call my elder sister a bitch just because she's with your ex! I can't believe you! I should have just listened to my sister instead of ignoring her. I'm taking you home and we're never speaking again!" Natsu growled out angered

"B-But Natsu! Please don't! I thought we had chemistry!"

Natsu scoffed as he placed his child in his car before slamming the door shut. He then glared at Jenna. "Listen here, I don't give a damn about what I told you before in my ignorance. My elder sister has never been wrong with her intuition. And I should have known better than to question her for a second time. Yes I want someone who'll be good with children, but I don't want someone who has cheated on someone else with a minor of all people just because they can't openly place themselves out to their significant other! My baby girl needs a mother that'll always be there for her and you aren't it. Get in and don't you dare touch my baby girl got it!"

Jenna just teared up and went into the car upset that she didn't get her way. Natsu saw that Ja'far hadn't left out with his sister yet and sighed out. "Where are you goin' with my sis now?"

"I have two more places I'll be taking her. Do you need time at the house?"

"No...just curious if I'll be seeing you two home soon or not."

Ja'far shook his head. "We probably won't be home till late tonight."

"Alright."
