♡ Everyone wants him
That was my crime
The wrong place at the right time
And I break down, then he's pullin' me in
In a world of boys, he's a gentleman♡

-SIYA-

I would've taken a picture of Kabir's face had I not been in shock myself.

Kabir has stopped typing away on his laptop, Fatty's chapati has stopped mid-way to his mouth, my eyes are frantically flying between my best friend and my... well, Kabir... and Ava is standing with her hands on her hips. Her hair is in a gorgeous messy bun and an oversized shirt covers her body, exposing her amazing long, tan legs. Clear sign that she had sex last night.

Of course, she did. You can't do it in the hospital while someone is giving birth. Or can you? Ava can...

"What?" She questions. All the three of us gang up on her simultaneously, our voices overlapping each other's.

"Seriously?" Kabir shouts.

"You've gotta be kidding me." Fatty rolls his eyes.

"Do you hate me?" I snarl at her.

"What? I think Eric and Kabir should get to know each other... you know, because he is now an important part of your life and he deserves to know your ex-boyfriend! No matter how embarrassing Kabir is..." Ava blows Kabir a kiss when he glares at her.

"Embarrassing? Me? The guy's name rhymes with Moron!" He gasps. "Kabir!" I yell at him. "Sorry!" He makes a mocking sad face.  Son of a bitch doesn't even mean it.

"So, we are all going clubbing today evening!" Ava throws her hands in the air, the smell of chapati makes me homesick. "No way in hell am I going anywhere to meet Siyu's boyfriend, no matter how embarrassing his name may be." I get up and walk towards Kabir. I smack his head. "Ow." My heart explodes when he calls me Siyu in front of everyone as if it's not a big deal, without giving Ava a chance to threaten him, I speak up. "I think you guys can go out... I mean no need to bond with each other. But there's no harm in making small talk, Eric is a really sweet man." He smiles at the hidden subtext.

"Meet him, drink with him but just don't tell him that you do me behind closed doors. Also, please, please, please- Do not let him suspect that I even like you the slightest. Please! He'll be heartbroken."

"Fine," Kabir says, I want to hug him for what he's agreeing to do. I would never like to look at someone Kabir is involved with, let alone making conversation. "But what if it doesn't work? What if it gets awkward?" He asks me, rubbing the back of his head. Ava snorts.

"There's going to be booze! Lots and lots of it! You guys are gonna be fine." She smiles. Kabir nods. "Cool." I know he's not convinced.

********

"Eww." Kabir's nose scrunches up for the seventh time in the past seven minutes that we've stepped into the club. I follow his gaze and find a man in his fifties sitting on a couch, he looks awfully drunk and his clothes are soaked in sweat- a stripper is pulling out money from his mouth using her teeth. Her body is covered in glitter and a g-string covers... well, nothing. And don't even get me started on her bra. This time my nose scrunches up too.

Ava and Fatty have already hit the dance floor. They are both laughing as they dance away in a crowd full of people. Gaurav grabs her ass and, okay. Mommy and Daddy are getting inappropriate. I drag Kabir to the bar, he extends his hand to pull out my barstool but someone beats him to it. I take my seat and look up to see who pulled my seat.
