Adrien's POV:

What was the matter with me?

Marinette confesses she still loves me all this time.

I didn't say it back.

I held her hand as I took her to get a donut.

I ordered two chocolate-creamed filled donuts.

"Oh, did you want something else?" I asked her.

"No, whatever you ordered is fine."

I smiled as I paid for the donuts.

I sat across from her.

I missed her hand.

I watched as she ate the donut.

I saw her blush.

I looked away and ate my donut.

I saw that she had some donut crumbs near her lip.

I stood up and brushed them off with my pinky finger.

  Marinette blushed some more.

"You know you are one amazing, beautiful, and special girl, Marinette."

I saw her gasp when she heard the song that played next on the old-fashioned jukebox inside the donut shop.

"It is our song, Adrien! Come on, they are playing our song!"

I looked at her in surprise.

I saw her start to dance, and I joined her.

Soon, I felt my hands touch her waist as if they belonged there.

I felt her hands touch my shoulders.

Somehow, the whole thing was familiar.

It was almost as if we were at Chole's party all over again.

Only this time, it was just the two of us.

           I saw Marinette smile.

          I heard her sigh.

I watched as she placed her head on my chest as the dance continued.

I felt as if she belonged with me.

Where was the feeling coming from?

The music ended, and she pulled away from me.

I saw tears form in her eyes.

       "Marinette?"

    "Yes, Adrien?"

I  don't know what came over me. At that moment, I felt as if I could kiss her.

I held her close and looked into her eyes as I had during that silly school play.

The one where we almost kissed.

What would have happened if the kiss had not been interrupted by Chole?

I  leaned in and saw her do the same.

     I hesitated once more.

Was it too soon to kiss her?

I felt something wet brush against my lips and gasped.

   Marinette kissed me.

It felt like heaven on earth.

I kissed her slowly in return, afraid if I did not,  the magical moment would go away, and I would wake up without her.

       "A-Adrien?"

      "Y-yes?"

    "Was it okay?"

  "Was what okay, Marinette?"

    "The k-kiss?"

I blushed and  muttered, "Y-Yes, it was more than okay."

I kissed her once more, then pulled away.

"Adrien, you must not keep toying with my feelings."

I cupped her chin with my hands.

"Marinette, I love you."

"Adrien, I love you, too."

I smiled as I removed my hands from her face.

I handed her a small box.

Inside was a set of earrings.

 "Thanks, Adrien."

"You are welcome, darling."

"Darling?"

"Yes, it is okay, if I call you darling, isn't it?"

"yes, Adrien."

I held her hand.

I  took her to the hotel where she was staying.

"see you soon, darling."

"You too, Adrien, my love."

I watched as she closed the door and sighed.

I  was determined to marry that girl.

Yes,  I would make sure to do it soon.
