It has been 3 weeks since she can back from Manchester and she has been really busy. With her wedding being in 3 months, she was busy planning everything from the guest list to the menu. On top of that, she was working on an intense murder case at work. As a lawyer, she was determined to win this case. She had been working late nights and weekends. It was just another day at work whereby she had been working all day trying to figure out how to go about the case. She was starting to feel the strain. She was working late at the office when she started to feel sick. She had a headache, her stomach was upset and she was feeling dizzy. She tried to ignore it but she couldn't. She thought she was just tired, but then she started to vomit. Her personal assistant , Zoey , saw her and rushed to her side. Zoey: OMG Jordan are you okay? Jordan: Yeah I'm fine Zoey. I think it's something that I ate. Zoey: You haven't been looking so good the whole day now that I think of it. Are you sure you okay? Jordan: Yes I'm fine. Now stop stressing so much. Zoey: Sorry. I'm just worried about you. Jordan: It's okay. I think I'm just gonna wrap it up for the day. My body is just tired. I haven't been sleeping much lately because of the case. Zoey: Yeah probably. You've been spending most of your nights in the office. You should take a day off. Jordan: I'll just go get some water.
As she was about to stand up, she started feeling dizzy. Zoey decided that it was best Jordan went to the hospital since she wasn't looking so good despite her saying she's fine. Zoey helped her to her feet and led her to the elevator. She took her to the hospital, and and the doctor decided to admit her . The doctor did some tests and came back with the results. The doctor told her she was having a miscarriage. He explained to her that she had lost the baby at 7 weeks. Jordan was shocked. She didn't even know she was pregnant. She had been so focused on work and planning her wedding that she hadn't even noticed the signs. She started to cry, and Zoey put her arm around her.
Zoey: I'm so sorry. Jordan: I didn't know.(She shook her head.) Zoey: It's not your fault. Should I call Kylian? I think it's best if you be with someone close to you at this moment. Jordan: No, I don't want him seeing me like this . And also thank you for being there Zoey. Zoey: Anytime Jordan. That's what friends are for.
The doctor gave Jordan some medication to help with the pain and left. She was finding it hard to comprehend what was going on. This is her second miscarriage and she doesn't know how to feel about it as she didn't even know she was pregnant. Jordan went to bed, and Zoey stayed with her. She held her close and told her that everything was going to be okay. Jordan knew that she was right, but she couldn't help but feel sad. She had lost her baby, and she was about to relive the pain she felt with her first pregnancy. After a while she decided to go home as being at the hospital serves a reminder of what happened. Zoey drove her back home. She decided to spend the night at her place instead of going to Kylian's house as she wanted to be alone.
