Kylian had a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach as he walked up the pathway to Jordan's house. She had been avoiding him for a week now and he had no idea why. It was unlike her to be so distant, so he knew something must be wrong. Kylian stood outside Jordan's house, his heart racing with anticipation and worry. He had to see her, had to know what was going on. The silence between them had been deafening, and he couldn't take it anymore. He took a deep breath and knocked on the door. The wait felt like an eternity, but finally, the door opened. Jordan stood before him, her eyes red and puffy, her face pale. She looked like she had been crying for hours, and Kylian's heart went out to her.

J: Hey(she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. )
K: Hey. (his voice was laced with concern) Can I come in?"

Jordan hesitated for a moment before stepping aside, allowing Kylian to enter. The house was quiet and still, the only sound the soft hum of the TV in the background. Kylian's eyes scanned the place taking in the sight of Jordan's usual neatness, now it was a mess. His heart went out to her, knowing that something was seriously wrong. "Kylian what are you doing here?" She asked, trying to sound so casual.  "Jordan, what's going on?" he asked gently, sitting down beside her on the couch. "You've been avoiding me for days, and I'm getting worried."
" I'm okay Kylian . I just needed some time to myself. Away from everything and everyone" she said while getting comfortable on the couch. "What do you mean? You clearly aren't okay" " I said I'm fine. Now stop pushing it". She was now getting annoyed. She just wanted to be alone. He wasn't supposed to her like that. "No you not fine. Now What the fuck is going on?  Please talk to me amour".  Jordan sighed, her shoulders sagging under  the weight of her secrets. "I don't know, Kylian. I just feel so lost right now." "You're not alone, Jordan. I'm here for you. Whatever it is, we'll face it together. Now please tell me what's wrong". Kylian's arms wrapped around her, holding her close.

But Jordan just shook her head, her eyes welling up with tears. Kylian's grip tightened around her," babe please talk to me". Jordan's voice barely whispered the words. "I was pregnant, Kylian. And I miscarried." Kylian's heart stopped. Pregnant? Miscarriage? He felt like he had been punched in the gut. He had no idea she was pregnant, no idea she was going through this alone. Kylian felt like he had been punched in the gut. He couldn't think. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He thought back to the days when Jordan was avoiding him, when she was distant and cold. He had no idea what was going on, no idea that she was carrying their child inside her. He felt a wave of guilt wash over him, guilt for not being there for her.  He felt like he had failed her, failed himself. He couldn't protect her, couldn't save their child. He felt like a failure, a failure as a partner.

But as he looked into Jordan's eyes, he saw something there that gave him hope. He saw strength, courage, and resilience. He saw a woman who had been through hell and back, and was still standing. He saw a woman who was willing to face her challenges head-on, who was willing to fight for their love. And in that moment, Kylian knew that he had to be strong for her. He had to be her rock, her shelter in the storm. He had to be the man she needed him to be, the man he knew he could be. "How? When was this?" he whispered, holding her closer. "On the day I went AWOL on everyone. I felt a little sick while I was at the office. Zoey decided to take me to the hospital only to find out that I was having a miscarriage. I didn't even know I was pregnant Kylian ". "I'm so sorry. I had no idea." Kylian said. Jordan's tears flowed freely now, her body shaking with sobs. Kylian held her tight, feeling her pain and grief. He knew that this was a loss for both of them, a loss of a future they had hoped for.

As they sat there, holding each other, Kylian knew that their love would get them through this. They would face this challenge together, and come out stronger on the other side. But he couldn't shake the feeling that he had failed her, that he should have been there for her sooner. "Why didn't you tell me?" he asked gently, his voice barely above a whisper. Jordan pulled back, her eyes searching his face. "I didn't know how," she said softly. "I was scared and alone, and I didn't know what to do." Kylian's heart broke for her, broke for the pain she had endured alone. He knew that he should have been there for her, should have been stronger for her.

"I'm so sorry, Jordan," he whispered, holding her close. "I should have been there for you. Having to re-live this pain again, alone". Jordan's tears slowed, her body still shaking with sobs. "It's not your fault, Kylian," she whispered. "I just didn't know how to handle it." They sat there for a long time, holding each other, mourning the loss of their unborn child. Kylian knew that he had to be strong for Jordan, had to be her rock in this difficult time. And he was determined to do just that. As the hours passed, Jordan's tears slowed, and she began to calm down. Kylian held her close, feeling her heart still racing with pain and grief. He knew that this was just the beginning of their journey, their journey of healing and recovery. "Jordan," he whispered, his voice barely above a whisper. "We'll get through this together. I'm here for you ".

Jordan looked up at him, her eyes red and puffy. "I know," she whispered. "I know we will." Kylian smiled, feeling a sense of hope and determination. He knew that their love would get them through this, that they would face this challenge together, and come out stronger on the other side. "I love you mon amour".
