Here we are at the final promised quadruple update. 4/4 I feel like I just made an achievement in my writing years four updates in one day. Man
Anyways, let's get it
As Jamie said, getting into school on Tuesday morning, the rumours had spread around with different versions tied to it.
Sure, I took Reya on a date, but no, we didn't have sex. Sure, I took her to Tico's, but I didn't take her to my secret apartment.
What is with teenagers? I don't get it. Yes, I'm a teenager, but I don't think with all my hormones. Jamie laughs as he rests beside my locker.
"Man, I have been hearing weird shit all morning.""Tell me about it." I shake my head, keeping my book in the locker. "I've been hearing crap all morning, and the stares are annoying,"
"Hey, I did warn you,"
"I know, man, but this is off the hook. Where the hell did I get a secret apartment from."
"Or the one that said you guy in the car"
"Dude, that one as well. They are just trying to ruin her reputation."
"She is a cold beauty. Everyone would want a scoop surprised no one has approached you yet.
"I might punch someone if they do." I said, glaring at the crowd.
"I think they received that message loud and clear." Jamie said, tapping my shoulder the bell had rung, and the hallways began to clear.I sigh, shutting my locker door and walking to class. I get in and barely receive any stares from anyone. Seems like they got the actual message. Reya is sitting down next to Norman, they are discussing some things, and I go sit next to Luke. As usual, he gives me worried glances, and I sigh.
"Good morning Luke, yeah, I'm fine. Don't believe all the rumours that you hear." He seems to breathe out when he hears my explanations, and he turns to me, his voice low. "So the dirty things they are saying didn't happen."
Thank God for an innocent seat partner.
"Yes, it didn't. I only took her out to eat at Tico's and dropped her off at her bus stop.He nods at me, muttering an okay and faces the classroom, expecting our first teacher for the day.
She comes in after five minutes, and the first topic of the day is literature. Hopefully, some people get to understand their metaphors better.
A few classes in, it's time for lunch, and I head out of the class. Jamie is at the entrance waiting for me.
"You waiting feels like I've got a body guard." I say as we walk towards the cafeteria.
"Sure, you do the best one in town." He states, puffing his chest and beating his hand on his chest. "I gotta grab something from my locker real quick,"
We divert to the hallway on our right and go towards his locker. People are still staring, and I roll my eyes
"Don't these people have other things to do that just stare at me. It's food time, isn't it.
"For you sure the others, it's more time to stare and you and spread more gossip. By the way, another rumour got out."
"Of course it did. What do you expect from teenagers." I say as we reach Jamie's locker that he opens, pulling out a book.
"You are one as well," forget that.
"Gossiping teenagers" is state
"Okayy" He drags, asking what my point is as he shuts his locker back.
I purse my lips. "What is the rumour?"
"That you snagged again and Reya is a pretentious slut." He answers calmly but I'm already seething.
