I know we expected a continuation of Reya's pov, but surprise, Loren's is here  instead enjoy. 😉 🤭

Let's get it.

I can't say my day has been the best, considering Reya has been in a bad mood all day. Today is supposed to be our date, and I get the feeling that she will cancel it. I have never seen a lady this angry in my life.

She barely talked to anyone and kept a very tough attitude. I tried conversing with her in the morning, but she just passed by me like I didn't exist.

It hurt a lot, but I feel worse for Norman, her seat buddy. He felt stiff all day under her pressure. He couldn't even talk to her, fearing that she would snap at him.

Lunch was even terrible when she ignored Jamie and I she still sat with her friends but didn't utter a word and it made them uncomfortable cause when they kept trying to talk to her or make jokes she didn't even crack.

What could have pissed the hell out of an eighteen year old that she made everyone feel like they are beside an ice berg when they are around her.

Not me, though, cause I want to get to the bottom of it. It felt weird for Reya to be so detached and cold.

I keep watching her stab her chicken like it is her enemy barely putting it in her mouth. A small frown etches on my face.

"Dude, do you think your date is still on. With Reya in this mood It could be a disaster, you know." Jamie says, and I look back at him and watch him put chips in his mouth with a fork.

I sigh and shake my head, turning back to look at Reya and her friends, who each give her worried looks

"Dude, as worried and in love as you look right now, you need to eat. You need energy to deal with whatever storm is going to come your way this evening." He advises, and I turn to glare at him, which he shrugs back at.

I sigh and sit forward putting some chips in my mouth. As much as I hate his sentence, I need to eat and figure out what's bothering Reya.

"It's really weird that she was alright yesterday and laughing with the two of us and her friends, and then she comes in today looking like the rock about to smash someone."

I nodded at Jamie's words, taking a bite out of my chicken and quickly setting it down. Reya stabbed her chicken like it was a person who didn't sit well with me.

"What, not hungry?" Jamie asks, looking at my plate. I drag my plat closer to me.

"Bad dog, stay away," I say, pointing my own plastic fork at him. Hw rolls his eyes, swatting my wrist from his face.

"Quit that, and get your fork outta my face watching Reya stab hers for 15 minutes straight doesn't sit well with me."

"You're right on that one. It brings back weird memories," I say with a slight shiver and go for my juice.

"That failure of a movie we watched at the cinema, right?"  He looks at me with a smirk.

"I didn't even think of that. Why the hell you go thinking of shit." I frown at him, and he bursts out laughing.

I roll my eyes and eat my chicken cause fuck it her stabbing was cute.

Focus on your date alright don't think too much and waste much energy on your brain yeah." Jamie said getting up and the end lunch bell rang.

I scowl "I should say that to you ball brain."

"Hey I'm actually smart." He counters

"At basket ball sure which is the only time you actually think" I retort and watch as his mouth hangs open. I stand and walk towards him closing it and tapping his shoulder hard.
