."So, Chaeryeong-shi, what do you have to say about Taehyun-shi, your partner on Music Bank?" the interviewer asked.

Chaeryeong's heart fluttered at the mention of Taehyun's name, and she couldn't help but smile.

"Taehyun Oppa is really kind. I remember I was so nervous on our first day, but he helped me with the script and even brings snacks for the staff and me from time to time," Chaeryeong said.

"Wow, that's great! What kind of things does he bring?" the interviewer asked.

"He always brings yummy snacks for everyone. I really appreciate it. Thank you, Taehyun Oppa, if you're watching," Chaeryeong said, sending a smile toward the camera.

"Seems like you really like him. Do you see him as your future partner?" the interviewer asked with a teasing smile.

Panic.

"Chaeryeong, remember, no scandals. No scandals. You can't let this happen," she thought to herself, nervously.

"Oh, ani-yo, ani-yo! Not at all! He's like an older brother to me—that's it," Chaeryeong stammered.

The interviewer laughed at her reaction, clearly enjoying her embarrassment.

In the TXT Dorm
Later That Night

The interview had aired, and the members of TXT were gathered in the living room of their dorm, watching the show. When Chaeryeong's segment came up, all the boys leaned in closer, eager to see what she had to say about their fellow member.

"Seems like Chaeryeong really likes Taehyun," Yeonjun said with a smirk, nudging Soobin. "Look how she's blushing just talking about him."

Soobin laughed,"Look at how Taehyun's smiling."

As the interview continued, the part where Chaeryeong said, "He's like an older brother to me—that's it," came on screen. The room fell silent for a second.

Taehyun's face went bright red, and the rest of the boys burst into laughter.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA."Huening Kai laughed in his iconic dolphin laughter.

"Did she just call you her older brother?" Beomgyu teased, grinning from ear to ear. "Ouch, that's gotta hurt, man."

"I'm sorry, but 'older brother'? Chaeryeong? Really?" Kai added, trying to stifle his laughter. "What happened to the Taehyun we all know and love?"

Taehyun groaned, sinking into the couch with his hands covering his face. "Yah, can you guys not? She made it sound like I'm her grandpa."

"Maybe she was just being modest," Soobin said, trying to control his smile. "You know, not wanting to start any rumors... or maybe she's just trying to avoid any awkwardness on national TV."

"I told you this would happen!" Taehyun muttered, still embarrassed. "Why do you all have to watch everything? This is so unfair!"

The boys continued to tease him relentlessly.

"Looks like Taehyun's the big brother of the group now," Yeonjun said with a smirk, mimicking an exaggerated bow toward Taehyun.

"That's it," Taehyun said, getting up quickly. "I'm calling it quits. I'm never doing another show with her."

Beomgyu, still laughing, leaned over and patted Taehyun on the back. "It's okay, man. We all know the truth. You and Chaeryeong are just too close—it's not hard to see."

Taehyun could only bury his face in his hands again, trying to hide his red cheeks.

"Don't worry, we've got your back," Kai said, half-serious and half-amused. "We'll make sure to tease you more on the next Music Bank, just to keep things interesting."

The boys continued to laugh as Taehyun sighed, resigned to the fact that no matter what, they would never let him live this one down.
