"Listen, Kai, Yuna, Beomgyu, Ryujin—go try to get in contact with Chaeryeong," Yeonjun instructed firmly, taking charge of the chaotic situation. "Meanwhile, the rest of us will get Taehyun to the hospital."

The group quickly nodded and sprang into action. Yeonjun immediately called for an ambulance to take Taehyun, who was still groggy and disoriented, to the nearest hospital.

Kai and Yuna hurried over to the ITZY dorm, desperately hoping Chaeryeong might have returned there. They searched each room, calling her name, their voices echoing through the empty halls. Yuna's face fell as she glanced around Chaeryeong's untouched room, tears forming in her eyes. "She's... she's not here," Yuna said quietly, her voice trembling.

Kai pulled her into a comforting hug. "We'll find her, Yuna. Don't worry. She can't have gone too far," he murmured, hoping his words would soothe her even as worry gnawed at him.

Meanwhile, Ryujin and Beomgyu scoured the JYP building, questioning everyone from staff to trainees. But no one had seen Chaeryeong. Frustrated and exhausted, they finally sat in their car, trying to figure out their next move.

"Beomgyu, stop the car!" Ryujin suddenly shouted, her eyes fixed on something outside.

Beomgyu slammed on the brakes, following her gaze to a large digital billboard on a nearby building. The screen flashed a breaking announcement: "JYP announces ITZY's Chaeryeong on indefinite hiatus due to health issues. Return date unknown."

Ryujin stared at the message, her mind racing with unanswered questions. She snapped a picture of the billboard and sent it to their group chat. The others needed to know, but the silent ride back to the hospital left her unsettled.

At the hospital, the TXT and ITZY members gathered anxiously, waiting for any news about Taehyun. The tension in the room was palpable as Kai turned to Yeonjun. "What did the doctor say, hyung?" he asked, his face etched with concern.

Yeonjun took a deep breath, struggling to keep his emotions in check. "The doctor confirmed that his drink was drugged. That's why he passed out," he replied, his voice tight with anger and frustration.

Everyone gasped in shock. Beomgyu clenched his fists, seething with anger. "Did they inform the police?" he asked.

Soobin nodded. "Yes. Our company is taking legal action. They're not letting this slide."

"When will we be able to see him? Is he okay now?" Yuna asked, her voice laced with worry.

"He's stable, but he's still unconscious. We'll probably be able to talk to him when he wakes up," Yeji replied softly, trying to reassure the others even as her own anxiety gnawed at her.

Yeonjun turned to Soobin. "Let's stay here for the night. Kai and Beomgyu, you guys take the girls back to their dorm. They need rest."

"It's okay, Yeonjun," Yeji protested gently. "You guys must be exhausted, too."

"No, you need to rest. We'll call you tomorrow as soon as Taehyun wakes up," Yeonjun insisted.

The girls nodded reluctantly, following Kai and Beomgyu out of the hospital. The ride back to the dorm was silent, the air thick with worry and sadness. When they finally arrived, the familiar space felt strangely foreign, heavy with Chaeryeong's absence.

Once inside, Yuna looked at Yeji with a sense of urgency. "Yeji unnie, let's call PD-nim. He must know something. Chaeryeong unnie would've told him about her hiatus, right?"

Yeji nodded, pulling out her phone and dialing their PD. Each ring heightened their anxiety, the silence between rings almost unbearable.

Finally, he answered. "Hello, Yeji."

Yeji took a steadying breath. "PD-nim, do you have any idea where Chaeryeong is?" she asked, desperation evident in her voice.

There was a pause on the other end, and then he spoke carefully. "Chaeryeong contacted us, yes. She... she mentioned wanting some time alone to recover and process things. She insisted on keeping her location private. It was all very sudden, but given her request, we've agreed to respect her decision."

Yuna's face crumpled as she listened. "She left without telling us," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Yeji gripped her phone tightly, frustration and sorrow bubbling up. "PD-nim, please, if you know anything... she needs her friends right now."

"I understand, Yeji," the PD replied, his tone gentle. "I'll let you know if anything changes, but for now, I'd advise you all to give her some space. I know it's difficult, but she asked for privacy."

As Yeji hung up, a heavy silence filled the room. Each of them felt the weight of Chaeryeong's absence, an ache that was impossible to ignore.

Back at the hospital, Taehyun slowly opened his eyes, his vision blurry as he took in his surroundings. Soobin and Yeonjun leaned over him, relief evident in their faces.

"Taehyun, are you okay?" Soobin asked, his voice laced with worry.

Taehyun winced, his head throbbing. "What... what happened?"

Yeonjun looked at him, his expression serious. "Taeri drugged you, Taehyun. We've already reported it, and our company is handling it legally."

Realization dawned on Taehyun's face, the painful memories flooding back. "Chaeryeong... where's Chaeryeong?" he asked, panic setting in.

Yeonjun's face darkened. "She saw you with Taeri. She was devastated and left. We've been trying to find her, but..." He trailed off, unsure how much to tell him.

Taehyun clenched his fists, tears welling up in his eyes. "No... she misunderstood. I have to explain... I need to see her," he choked out, struggling to sit up.

Soobin gently pushed him back down. "Rest, Taehyun. You're not in any condition to go anywhere right now."

But Taehyun couldn't rest. His heart felt like it was being ripped apart, and all he could think of was Chaeryeong's tearful face as she walked away. The guilt, the helplessness, and the overwhelming love he felt for her pressed down on him like a crushing weight.

"Please... find her for me," he whispered, his voice breaking. "I need her to know the truth."
