The group arrived at the club, the music already pulsing in the air. People were dancing, laughing, drinking, and smoking in the dimly lit space. The neon lights flickered, casting vibrant colors over the crowd. They made their way to a private table, where everyone began to settle in and order drinks. The vibe was relaxed, but the energy was electric.
Chaeryeong sat quietly, her fingers nervously tapping the edge of her drink. She was used to the sounds of laughter and conversation around her, but tonight, she felt out of place. She smiled and nodded whenever someone included her in the conversation, but it was clear she wasn't fully engaged. Her thoughts wandered to other places, the distance between her and Taehyun, the lingering tension, and the past they couldn't seem to escape.
"how much have you drunk?" NingNing asked, raising an eyebrow at Chaeryeong, who was nursing her beer.
"Just a bottle of beer," Chaeryeong replied with a small smile, hoping to brush it off.
NingNing laughed, eyeing her closely. "You're too red for just a bottle," she teased.
Chaeryeong chuckled, trying to hide her flush, but her face betrayed her. "I guess it's just the heat," she joked, but her voice was a little too high-pitched.
"Should I pour you another?" NingNing asked mischievously.
Chaeryeong hesitated, looking at the glass in front of her. She wasn't sure, but she didn't want to be the odd one out. "Sure," she said finally, picking up the glass and taking another cautious sip.
As she set it down, Taehyun's voice cut through the chatter, a touch of concern lacing his tone. "Don't drink it if you can't handle it," he warned, his eyes focused on her.
Chaeryeong felt the words sink into her chest, a subtle irritation growing. It was almost as though he was treating her like she couldn't make her own decisions. Her temper flared, and she met his gaze firmly. "I can handle it, thank you," she replied, her tone sharp, a little more defensive than she intended.
The table fell into a moment of quiet. Taehyun stared at her for a second before responding, "You're still bossy," his voice carrying a teasing edge.
Chaeryeong's eyes narrowed, a fire igniting within her. But instead of responding back, she picked up her drink and slammed three more bottles of beer down in quick succession. The alcohol hit her fast, her cheeks flushing even deeper, until she was as red as a tomato.
"Dude, what's your deal?" Jisung said, looking over at Taehyun with a frown. "She drank this much because of you."
Taehyun ran a hand through his hair, clearly frustrated. "I didn't make her drink," he muttered.
Taehyun mirked, his tone becoming more pointed. "If you're that worried about her, go get her some water or hangover pills, then," he said sarcastically, rolling his eyes.
Jisung clenched his jaw, clearly not in the mood for Taehyun's teasing, but he didn't respond. Instead, he stood up abruptly. "Okay, I will," he said, brushing past the group. "I'm taking Chaeryeong back to the villa before she passes out."Taehyun said
The others watched in silence as Taehyun helped Chaeryeong stand, leading her out of the club with one hand gently supporting her. The moment they left, Jay, Shuhua, and NingNing exchanged looks, their eyes lighting up with excitement.
"Oh my god, I can't believe it," Shuhua whispered, barely able to contain her excitement. "It's like I'm watching a K-drama in real life!"
Jay leaned in with a grin. "You don't even want to know the drama between them," he said, his voice full of mischief. "I mean, imagine how mad Jisung is going to be when he finds out what just happened."
NingNing giggled. "What if something happens on the way to the villa?" she teased, her voice full of playful intrigue. "Or even in the villa... You know how it always goes in those dramas."
Shuhua laughed, biting her lip as she leaned forward. "Honestly, this feels like it's just getting started. What if Taehyun's taking her back to have a moment? And Jisung? Oh, he's going to lose it."
The three of them were practically giddy with anticipation, already imagining all the ways things could unfold. The tension between Taehyun and Chaeryeong had been building for so long, and now it seemed like the perfect storm was finally brewing.
the club, Jisung returned, looking around as soon as he stepped through the door. "Where's Chaeryeong?" he asked, his voice filled with confusion.
NingNing exchanged a nervous glance with Shuhua. "Well..." she started, trailing off, clearly unsure of how to phrase it.
"Taehyun took her back to the villa," NingNing finally said, her voice tinged with uncertainty.
Jisung froze, his eyebrows furrowing in disbelief. "Wait, what? Just Taehyun? Alone?" His voice was a mix of surprise and something darker, an unease settling in.
Jay nodded, his expression unreadable.
Jisung glanced at NingNing, his eyes narrowing. "They're in the car, all alone?" he muttered under his breath, frustration evident in his tone.
NingNing nodded, her expression guilty. "It seems like it."
Jisung's frustration was palpable. He wanted to say something, but the words stuck in his throat. Something was happening between Taehyun and Chaeryeong, and he wasn't sure if he was ready to face the reality of it
