On the phone:
"Oppa! I know, even I can't believe I got to become an MC for *Music Bank*! It's always been my dream," Chaeryeong said happily to her brother, Ye-Dam.

"I'm so happy for you, Cherry. I'll also be there tomorrow for our comeback, so let's meet and film a dance challenge," Ye-Dam replied.

"Okay, Oppa, good night," she said, ending the call with a smile.

Before going to sleep, she put on "Anti-Romantic" by TXT. Whenever she had trouble sleeping, their songs always brought her peace. As Taehyun's voice filled the room, she drifted off with a smile.

**TXT's Dorm**

*[News] Lee Chaeryeong from ITZY is going to be an MC for *Music Bank* for the next 6 months!*

Soobin read aloud, and instantly, Taehyun turned towards him, snatching the phone out of his hand. As he scanned the article, his expression became unreadable.

"Okay, okay, dude, calm down. We know you have a crush on her," said Yeonjun, a smug smile on his face.

"Who, me? No-no-n-not at all, I'm just curious, that's all," Taehyun stuttered.

"Come on, Tae, we all know you've been extra happy whenever she's on stage," Soobin teased, giving him a knowing look.

Taehyun blushed but remained silent. After the teasing subsided, Taehyun retreated to his room, deep in thought. He couldn't deny it he liked her. But he'd never tried talking to her. If he liked her this much, he needed to take a step forward.

He opened his diary and flipped to the last page:

After staring at the list for a moment, he made up his mind.

"Soobin hyung, I want to be an MC at *Music Bank*," Taehyun said calmly.

Soobin raised an eyebrow. "Bro, I knew you liked her, but this much?" he teased.

"Noo~ I've just never tried it before, and I want to experience it," Taehyun responded, trying to sound casual.

"Sure, sure, I'm still going to believe the first thing you said. Anyway, let me check with PD-nim," Soobin said, reaching for his phone.

The next few minutes felt like an eternity for Taehyun as he nervously waited.

"Okay, it's done," Soobin said, hanging up the phone. "You'll be the MC for the next six months, and Lee Chaeryeong will be your partner."

Taehyun nodded calmly and retreated to his room, trying not to show how excited he was. The second the door shut, he burst into a silent dance of victory.

He was mid-dance when the door opened. "Dinner's ready" Yeonjun's voice stopped abruptly as he saw Taehyun dancing. A loud laugh echoed through the dorm. "What are you doing?!"

Taehyun froze. "Oh, f—"

"Hyung, why was Tae dancing in his room like we won an award?" Yeonjun asked Soobin, still laughing uncontrollably.

"Oh, you didn't hear? He's going to be an MC with Chaeryeong," Soobin said, amused.

**The Next Day**

Chaeryeong sat in the dressing room, wearing her outfit for the day, waiting for her makeup to be done. As she flipped through her script, she froze when she saw one particular line.

**Script:**
Chaeryeong: "And my partner for the next six months is none other than Taehyun-shii from TXT."

Her heart fluttered unexpectedly. *Oh no, I wasn't nervous before, but now...* She tried to calm herself down. *Hwaiting, Chaeryeong,* she whispered to herself.

As she left the room, Chaeryeong bumped into someone. "Omo, mianhe!" she apologized and bowed. When she looked up, her world stopped. It was Taehyun.

She quickly smiled and bowed again. "Annyeonghaseyo, Taehyun sunbaenim. It'll be great to work with you."

"Y-yes, it will be great to work with you too," he replied, his voice a little shaky.

"Actually, it's my first time being an MC, and I'm really nervous, so please help me out," she said with a friendly smile, trying to ease her nerves.

"Of course, I'll help. Don't be nervous. Hwaiting!" Taehyun said, flashing a reassuring smile. His heart was racing, but he kept his cool.

Just as Chaeryeong was about to reply, she waved excitedly at someone. Taehyun turned to see who it was.

Chaeryeong ran into someone's arms. Taehyun's jaw clenched slightly. *Who's that guy?* he wondered.

"Oppa, I'm so happy to see you!" Chaeryeong said, smiling sweetly.

Taehyun scoffed internally. *Why is she calling him oppa?* His irritation was barely contained.

"Oh, Taehyun sunbae, meet Ye-Dam oppa from Treasure," Chaeryeong introduced.

"Annyeong," Taehyun said, forcing the most polite smile he could muster.

"You know what, Chaeryeong-shii, let's go and rehearse the script together," Taehyun said quickly, eager to distance himself from the awkwardness.

"Uhh, okay! Bye, oppa!" Chaeryeong waved to Ye-Dam as she followed Taehyun.

**During the Rehearsal**

Chaeryeong fumbled through a line. "Aniyo~ what am I going to do? I keep forgetting," she said, pouting in frustration.

Taehyun couldn't help but smile at her cuteness. When she noticed, he cleared his throat. "Uhm, Chaeryeong-shii, Yeonjun hyung taught me a trick. If you forget a line, call for help indirectly. For example, instead of pausing, you could say, 'Taehyun-shii, would you like to announce it?' and I'll step in."

Chaeryeong nodded, absorbing the advice. After a few more minutes of practice, she smiled gratefully. "Taehyun-shii, thank you so much. I'm really glad you're my partner."

**Announcing the Winner**

"And the winner is... Treasure!" Chaeryeong said excitedly as Ye-Dam accepted the trophy. After giving his speech, he did a thumbs-up gesture to her, mouthing, 'You did well today.'

Chaeryeong smiled, mouthing back, 'Congratulations, oppa.'

Taehyun watched the exchange from the side, his jaw tightening again. He tried to act cool, but inside, he was sulking.

**After the Shoot**

"Chaeryeong-shii, I brought my car. Should I drop you off?" Taehyun asked.

"Thank you, but I have some work to do with Ye-Dam oppa, so I'm going to go home with him," Chaeryeong replied.

"U-Uhmm, okay. See you tomorrow," Taehyun said, trying to hide his disappointment.

As she walked away, he called out, "Chaeryeong!"

She turned back.

"You did well today! Hwaiting!" he said, before quickly walking away.

Chaeryeong felt her heart race as she watched him leave, blushing slightly. She bumped into Ye-Dam, who gave her a knowing look.

"Looks like someone's in love," Ye-Dam teased with a smirk.

Chaeryeong lightly hit his arm. "Aniyo!"

"Well, he's definitely into you," Ye-Dam said.

"What?" Chaeryeong asked, confused.

"I mean, didn't you see the way he reacted when you called me oppa? The guy was sulking," Ye-Dam said, laughing.

"Stop lying," Chaeryeong said, shaking her head.

"I mean, first Jisung, and now Taehyun. You've got quite a line of suitors, Cherry," Ye-Dam teased.
