"Tangled by the ties of love"

~Chapter-4~

TARUNI'S P.O.V:

I succeeded in  changing the topic, bhabhisaa called me to do cake as it was my ma aur papa ki anniversary, and we were trying to surprise them by arranging a party at night  

My phone pinged, and I saw a message from my bestest friend Samhitha we were best friends from my school,I opened my phone to see the message

"Hey babe" a smile plastered on my face seeing the message, bhabhi asked if I was chatting with Sam, I nodded 

And something popped into my mind, I asked how she come to know that I was chatting with Sam

for which she answered with a smirk on her face"You're talking like you have someone you love secretly, and I found out about your secret relationship"

"you have no one to chat and talk things with other than Sam and after a few days even she also will not be there," she said 

to which I rolled my eyes and said "You're jealous of my loyal friendship bhabhisaa," I said sarcastically to which she "Say that you don't have your love to complain and say things to!"

my phone again pinged  i opened the chat and it was Sam again

"There's a 10th class reunion for us this weekend"she stated 

"Chill bro, we still have 4 days,"I said in a cool mode

"Lady where are you lost? It's Thursday today and the day after tomorrow we have the reunion"

aaahhhh!!!! I groaned in frustration

"What should I do ??"I inquired her

"Let's go shopping tomorrow then," she said

"Perfect!"I stated

"When?" she asked

"I'm not particular" I asserted

"How about @4:00pm?"She asked

"cool!"I said

with that, I stopped chatting with her

we completed preparing the cake and we were waiting for my bhaisaa to come home

Soon he arrived, we had dinner and decided to play playing cards and started 

the clock showed 12:00 AM

I sneaked into the kitchen to bring the cake; Riya, bhabhisaa, and bhaisaa were having a last check on the decorations, I and bhabhisaa have arranged

I brought Mama and Papa outside the room they were happy seeing the arrangement done 

Suddenly the doorbell rang I went to check, and to my surprise saw Sam on the other side of the door

She came inside with, "HAPPY WEDDING ANIVERSARY"  we said in unison; they had cut the cake 

after some time of chitchatting about memories of both couple's weddings, we left for our respective rooms 

As Sam was there we decided to watch stuff on Netflix since we were not sleepy 

I don't know when we drifted to sleep, my sleep got disturbed when I felt something wet in my lower 

Because of me Sam too woke up, concern was clear on her face; with that, I left to use the washroom. When I came out I saw Sam had already gotten up

With a concerned face" What happened?" she asked "I got my fucking periods" I said with a pout

"then can you make it out today I mean we planned to go  shopping, can you??" she inquired 

As I know Sam hates plans being postponed "Yeah we'll go "I said "You sure" she again asked to confirm 

I had fun with Sam, we both played with Riya and had lunch, chitchat with bhabhisaa

It was 3:30 already so I and Sam left for my room to change 

It was 4:00 when we left, we took a taxi and reached our destination 

After paying the driver, we decided to first buy our outfits

I started trying a few clothes

from all of them, Sam selected these outfits, I rather found them uncomfortable to wear.

To which Sam replied "Look, I want you to outshine that bitch in the reunion" frustration tinged in her voice.  "It's my primary wish too, but these dresses are too revealing! aren't they?" I said looking at them "In addition, I'm having periods"I added "I never forced you to do things but in Janvi's mater I'll never compromise, and don't act like you're weak.I very well  know you can manage anything if you desire" she said with domineering tone

I have no other option other than wearing one of them, So I nodded in affirmation

"Which one of them do you want mam?" a lady from staff inquired me to which I and Sam shared a look. Before I could even answer Sam replied"The  wine red one" to which the lady replied, "Okay mam let's go to the billing counter to bill the dress ".The lady lead the way towards the counter. I paid the bill, it was already 8:00 pm we decided to have dinner out and then go to our houses 

We decided to hire a taxi to the restaurant nearby. when were waiting for the taxi to arrive I noticed a Mercedes going on the road it reminded me of a past incident I forgot to share with Sam

"I forgot to tell you," I said to which Sam tilted her to see me "What?" she asked to which I said the Midnight experience after sharing a doubt popped into my mind when I was about to express Sam was lost in her own thoughts and the taxi has arrived so we both got into the taxi and had lunch

I reached my house and when I was about to get out of the taxi "Message me once you reach home!" I said with that I got off and entered the house I saw  no one in the hall then I checked my watch to see the time it was 11:00 pm already so I went to my room and changed into my pajamas and got onto my bed My phone tinged, as I checked it, it's Sam who sent me a message that "Reached, goodnight darling!!" to which I replied "have a sound sleep sweetheart"

with that, I kept my phone aside and thought about how cheesy we both were becoming after a couple of thoughts on other things i drifted back to sleep
