~Chapter-13~

TARUNI'S P.O.V:

I started the meeting in a hurry checking my surroundings and appearance for one last time when I saw a man in a grey suit who was in his 30s  started talking about himself and asked me to introduce myself to which I started by saying "Good evening Mr.Rao, this is Taruni Mehra. I am passionate about running my own company and I have been seeking investment and funds for the past few months luckily I received a mail from Infinity reporting that they're interested in my Idea."I completed the sentence though I said it confidently I felt pretty tensed deep down but luckily I didn't show it to the person I was talking to

                                                                                           **TIME SKIP**

"We'll let you know about our opinion in a few days Ms.Mehra," he said "Thank you for your quality time Mr.Rao and I'll be waiting for your reply" I replied to him with my utmost confidence in a professional tone.

And the meeting ended. My mumma came to my room slowly as I said I'd be in a meeting and followed by her Sam entered the room with a question mark face. She came to me and sat on the bed since I was sitting in the chair at my table. Mumma left saying she'll bring fruits for us."How's the meeting?" Sam asked me to which "Great" and it made her face light up then seeing me looking at her suspiciously she raised her eyebrows as a gesture to say what I was thinking then I started the conversation by questioning her

"I heard you were on a date with someone today?"

To which  she replied blushing "Yeah we went to his house last night, suddenly he got a call and left early morning and returned in an hour or two and then we played his video games and went to lunch then the amusement park and later he dropped me here"

"Wah, madam! You met him yesterday and you spent the night together at his place and you went on a date with him. Enjoy!!" I said teasing her 

"Leave about me, say about you," she said looking at me excited 

Listening to her question I remembered how we played with those animals and it made me grin like an idiot which raised doubts in Sam which was plastered on her face. Knowing that I wouldn't say things to her much she was trying to please me by holding my hands to which I jerked my hands and turned towards my table to grab my laptop and say "I have work to do unlike you" I said 

"Hey! it's not fair I said all that happened to me and now it's my turn to say no!" she said turning me to face her.

I started by saying what happened at the abandoned house to which she gave an idiotic grin and said "Now I understood" she said this made me raise my brow and she said "DADDY!!" she exclaimed  to which I covered her mouth with my hands to stop her spilling all shit and then I took off my hands when she licked them just to make me release her and I did when she asked "then?" "I was afraid of him and tried to go with Yash when he refused to take me and told me to go with Vaibhav" "That's my boy," Sam said  to which I gave a side eye and she stopped letting me continue, I continued saying and when I said about the lion matter she was completely clueless saying "Is he a human?" "Who raises a lion as a pet ?" she added

Ignoring I continued the whole story when I was about to complete my mumma came and gave us fruits with that she left the room and I completed what happened between us

"Dude your story is crazy unlike me which is so ordinary," she said to which I said "Hello your relationship is different from ours"
