Chapter 67

Third Person's POV:

Lately, life has been good for the grey-haired omega.

But of course, someone or something had to spoil it.

For instance, the visitor waiting at his apartment with teary eyes.

The omega stood frozen on his spot, not knowing how to react.

Of all the people, he didn't expect his mother at his apartment on an early Saturday morning.

"Baby who is i--" the Trueblood stopped talking as he saw the person in front of him.

"Baby, Tae, how are you?" The woman murmured and the omega looked down at his feet, clenching his fists and gritting his teeth in anger.

The Trueblood immediately went near the omega and grabbed his hands, intertwining their fingers as he caught the omega's usual sweet scent turning sour.

"Tae, won't you speak to Eomma bub?" The alpha asked sniffling.

"Bubba we should call her inside" the Trueblood whispered, but the omega shook his head.

"Where were you all these days Eomma?" The omega asked and the alpha looked down at her feet in defeat.

"Marshmallow, we should call her inside" the Trueblood murmured and the omega looked up at the true blood, who smiled softly. Sighing, he moved inside and made way for the alpha.

"You won't even invite Eomma inside right?" The alpha murmured wiping her tears, and chuckled sadly.

"Mrs. Kim come inside please" the Trueblood mumbled, while the omega walked past them and sat on the couch, with a blank face.

All three were looking at each other in awkward silence before the oldest decided to speak.

"Tae, bun forgive Eomma dear. I am sorry bub." The alpha mumbled, her voice getting muffled due to her sobbing.

"Don't apologize Eomma. I am no one to you after all. It's alright. Why are you here now?" The omega asked, and the trueblood nudged his elbow, trying to stop the omega.

"It's alright Yoongi-ssi. I am at fault. It's all my fault. I should have visited him before. I am sorry bub. Please forgive me" the alpha pleaded, joining her hands together.

"Go away Eomma. I am okay. Leave me alone" the omega mumbled, looking away from his mother, or else, he would definitely cry and run into her arms, as he can never see her cry.

"Bub please don't say that. I am sorry. I am really sorry bub" the alpha mumbled standing up, and the trueblood moved away from the omega, making space for the lady.

"Baby please. Look at Eomma bub." The alpha mumbled, and the omega immediately hugged the alpha, breaking into loud sob.

"Why didn't you visit me. You didn't even see my pup. You didn't even visit me when I was admitted. Do you hate me that much Eomma?" The omega asked, his voice getting muffled due to his sobs.

"No baby. Don't say that. Eomma is sorry bub. How can I hate my baby um? Eomma is sorry bub. And I tried to find about you but I was not able to do anything beyond your appa. And will you show my grandson to me bub?"

The omega nodded and pulled back, wiping his tears and stood up.

The omega and trueblood lead the alpha to their room and showed the pup, who was sleeping.

The alpha cooed and picked the pup carefully, who wiggled in her arms. But soon, the pup relaxed and continued sleeping.

The alpha sniffled and pecked the pup's forehead.

Placing the pup, the alpha turned towards the omega and hugged him again.

"Eomma is sorry bub. Forgive me bun."

The omega nodded and smiled when his mother kissed the top of his head, and the trueblood watched the interaction with a soft smile.

"Thank you so much Yoongi-ssi. Thank you for taking care of him" the alpha mumbled to which the trueblood shook his head with a smile.

"Don't thank me Mrs Kim. And don't worry about that. I will always take care of him and my little one."

The omega's hurt fluttered and he smiled softly, looking at his mother and mate talking.

Maybe, this is what feels like to fall in love.

Having a person, a mate like Yoongi made Taehyung realise what love felt like. He felt happy and safe in the older's arms, and indeed agreed that he is falling for the older as days pass by.

The omega opened the cafe and went inside with a bright smile. After meeting his mother, he felt like a huge burden was lifted off his shoulders. Now, he was visiting the cafe, with the trueblood's mother trailing behind him, with his pup in her arms.

Actually, it was the true blood's idea to visit the cafe, as he told his mother about Mrs Kim's visit.

After the alpha went back, the omega was still a little upset with his mother but decided to forgive her.

To cheer him up, the trueblood's mother insisted on visiting the cafe, and the omega agreed.

"Hello noona" the omega chirped, and the mentioned girl waved back with a bright smile, seeing the omega's boxy smile.

"Hello Tae"

"Where is my favorite human?" The omega asked, looking around the cafe.

Ara chuckled and pointed at the high chair and the omega's smile widened as he walked towards the chair.

"Tae Tae" the pup mumbled excitedly, and the omega giggled picking the pup in his arms.

"Hey, Bubba. Tae Tae missed you. And I heard that you cried when I was at the hospital um? Bubba should stay strong like my cub you are um?. Tae Tae was sad when he heard that his Bubba cried" the omega mumbled pouting.

" But Tae Tae was crwying too and Chung Hee was sad." The pup babbled, nuzzling into the older's neck.

"Aww my precious bun" he cooed pecking the pup's forehead, and the pup giggled.

"Now cwome and pway with Chung Hee" the pup murmured and the omega nodded with a smile.

"Bwut wait. Chung Hee wants to Pwlay with baby bun." The pup mumbled excitedly, bouncing on his chair.

"Oh baby, come let's go Bubba." The omega murmured picking the pup in his arms and went near the trueblood's mother, who was holding his pup.

Soon, the cafe was filled with giggles and gossips, as all the three gathered together and talked, while carefully looking after the pups.
