Snow raced back to the camp as fast as she could. Her paws thrummed hard on the earth below her. Panic flooded her senses, along with the determination to get back as fast as possible. Shrike is a fake! He is just using the Horizons. When Snow had talked to the black cat, who went by the name of Thunderstorm, she had figured out that every accusation Shrike had made against the group of rogues was fake! She knew she had a lack of evidence and could be wrong, but something in her gut told her she was right. From what Mossy had told her the other group had been trying to drive them out for their quirks, but Smokey told her that Shrike was trying to drive them out for more land.

Once she saw the entrance of the camp, no cat was anywhere in sight. Anxiety prickled at her gray and white pelt. The meeting must have started already. I have to find the group, or at least just Carmen. She rushed in and sneaked down the tunnel as quietly as possible. In the meeting room, she saw that all of the group had gathered in the circular room. Shrike was in the middle speaking.

"This group has prosecuted us enough. They accuse us of being different and strange, but they are wrong. We are as strong as anyone! No- we are stronger!" he was yelling. The group roared in support. Fury and determination flooded the room. Luckily for Snow, her friends sat on the edge of the crowd. their eyes shined with the same fire as everyone else's. This has to stop! Snow stopped herself from going down the tunnel. A whisper hissed in her ear.

"𝕐𝕠𝕦 𝕕𝕠𝕟'𝕥 𝕙𝕒𝕧𝕖 𝕥𝕠 𝕙𝕖𝕝𝕡 𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕞. 𝕋𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕚𝕤𝕟'𝕥 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕓𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖."

But they are my friends. She thought back to it. I would do anything to help my friends.

"𝔼𝕧𝕖𝕟 𝕚𝕗 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕕𝕚𝕖 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕞?"

I-I don't know. Her heart began to race. Would she really die for them? I haven't known them for that long. \

"𝔼𝕩𝕒𝕔𝕥𝕝𝕪. 𝕀 𝕤𝕖𝕖 𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕜𝕟𝕠𝕨 𝕒𝕝𝕝. 𝕀𝕗 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕕𝕠 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕕𝕚𝕖 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕤𝕝𝕠𝕨 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕡𝕒𝕚𝕟𝕗𝕦𝕝 𝕕𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙. What? My friends liked me! Why else would they be with me?
