With a pounce, she lept and landed on top of her prey. She quickly snapped its neck and held it up proudly. Her hunting skills had slightly approved. Before it was hard for her to adjust to being like a WindClan cat. Though now, she was getting used to it and her legs were getting stronger. Snowpaw scooped up her rabbit and brought it back to where the patrol was waiting for her.

When they caught sight of her, Ferretpool looked pleased with Snowpaw's catch and went down to meet her.

"We were just about to head back to camp since we have caught more than enough," Ferretpool told her. "Besides we need to leave some of the prey so we don't run out in leaf-bare."

Snowpaw nodded, she couldn't reply with the rabbit in her mouth. When they began to walk back toward camp, her mind drifted to what had happened a couple of nights ago when she had gone to the Moonpool. Nothing made sense, it felt like the cat was trying to show her something, but then they changed their mind. It was such a strange feeling and Snowpaw couldn't shake it off. "You don't belong here." Naw really StarClan? Even they don't like me probably. Besides, why tell me that after you told me to follow you? What were you trying to show me? And why do I have to figure it out all by myself!? At least other cats get some cryptic prophecy. I get even less than that! Now annoyed, Heatherpaw who was also on the patrol came up next to her.

"What's wrong Snowpaw? Did you wake up on the wrong side of the nest?" she asked with a glint of amusement in her eyes. Snowpaw's tail twitched. She really did not feel like talking right now, so all she did was shrug in hopes Heatherpaw would lose interest and go away. Unfortunately, that did the exact opposite.

"Ooh! Are you wanting me to guess? Okay so maybe you have a thorn in your paw, Rabbitpaw was being a butthead, you accidentally stepped on a stink bug and you can't wash the smell out... that happened to me once and it was horrible." Heatherpaw went on like that until they reached camp. Once Snowpaw placed her kill on the pile she glared at Heatherpaw.

"None of those things happened! I just want to be left alone okay?" she snapped at her. Heatherpaw instantly looked dejected. Snowpaw felt a little bad, but Heatherpaw needed to learn how to not be so annoying.

"Hey! Don't talk to my sister like that!" a voice hissed. Snowpaw looked up and groaned as she saw the shining silver fur and big ice-blue eyes.

"What do you want with me Silverpaw?" Snowpaw asked her with a glum expression.

"I want you to apologize to Heatherpaw immediately!" she glared at her with a grimace. Snowpaw rolled her eyes.

"Fine, only because I know you won't let it go," she growled. Snowpaw turned to Heatherpaw who looked confused and apologized.

"Sorry for snapping at you," Snowpaw grumbled. She usually wouldn't obey Silverpaw, but the entire clan practically worshipped her so she couldn't get away with anything without having the entire clan hate her. Wouldn't be the first time.

"Thank you so very much for the apology!" Heatherpaw chirped, amused.

"See? Doesn't it make you feel better to be nice?" Silverpaw asked her. Snowpaw stared at the silver apprentice with a blank expression.

"No," she told her and then got up to walk away. Silverpaw's tail lashed angrily as she stared down Snowpaw. She didn't care though it practically had no effect on her.

Later that day as Snowpaw was eating some fresh kill alone, the cats were nice, but she needed her personal time occasionally. So when someone came down beside her, it pricked a nerve.
