3. Shy Moon

"Prince Yeonjun."

Jimin was quite surprised to see him there.

Prince Kim Yeonjun is the youngest of the two sons of King Kim Gwanjong. Besides his identity as the prince of Raventhore, he's known for enchanting people. Sometimes others get mesmerized by his appealing looks.

Just like right in this moment, the soldiers behind Jimin were supposed to look down in respect but some of them were secretly peeping at the coming pretty Prince.

While Prince Yeonjun's eyes were focused on Jimin.

As soon as Prince Yeonjun stood right in front of Jimin, He immediately bowed down. Jimin gazes at him down with a frown,Angry or not, he bowed his body a little in accepting the greeting. Other mere emotions can be entertained later.

"Greetings Jimin Hyung."

Prince Jimin nodded his head, his gaze following yeonjun's movements as Yeonjun stood straight and looked at the Prince.

"Greetings to you too Yeonjun."

Prince Yeonjun noticed the sour tone of Jimin so he spoke while clasping his hands forward. "What's wrong Jimin Hyung? You were supposed to Accept the heartily welcome. But I heard you threatened to go back from here. Did something lack in welcoming you?" Yeonjun raised his eyebrows, reading Jimin's face carefully.

Jimin glanced to the side, at his soldiers before matching Yeonjun's gaze. "It was anything but heartily." Jimin frowned in anger and looked away. He wasn't hesitant to express his discontent boldly.

"Is restricting my soldiers to enter, a heartily welcome?" Jimin muttered under his breath. Yeonjun leaned his body forward a little and closer to Jimin. He could see the upset feeling on Jimin's face clearly.

"I can't hear you, Jimin Hyung. Please Speak louder." Jimin side-glanced at the Prince before speaking his feelings out. "Don't you think Prince Yeonjun ,restricting my army from entering the city is disrespectful to me? It shows distrust in us."

Jimin wasn't looking at Prince Yeonjun while expressing himself so he missed the mischief in the prince's expressions. The next words which Prince was gonna speak, he knew it would pinch Jimin so much.

"Jimin Hyung, you're taking it the wrong way. You're familiar with our laws and orders, aren't you? We can't allow outsiders to enter our Capital at night hours."

The Prince's expression immediately went stoic as soon as Jimin looked back at him with slightly big eyes.
"What do you mean by outsiders?"

Jimin looked betrayed and the face he was making almost caused Prince Yeonjun to lose his composure and laugh but he managed to look unbothered.

"Jimin Hyung, I didn't mean it like that. You're welcomed here with open arms. But as per royal orders, your soldiers have to stay the night out here. They can enter tomorrow morning only."

Jimin frowned deeply. "I've been coming to Raventhore since ages, that's too with a handful of my soldiers and this has never happened before. Why can't they come with me inside right now?" Jimin was angry and stubborn and the youngest Prince knew it. But he wanted to fuel it a little more so he turned his body slightly to the side, making as serious expression as he could.

"Hyung, If you want your soldiers to enter then they've to be checked by our security guards including each and every thing they are carrying."

Jimin didn't believe what the Prince said. It was so unusual and unexpected. Checking his soldiers, is directly showing a distrust in him, a suspicion on him and his small army. And he couldn't understand the base of it. But currently all of it was making him angry. The tiredness of his long journey was taking a toll on his mind.
