The dawn of the next day brought shine to Ruwana with the pleasant sounds of drums being beaten and conch shells rhythmically harmonizing. People left their work to gather around the soldiers who were catching their attention by the instruments, the crowd started surrounding them with whispers of curiosity.

“Listen! Listen!”

“Listen! listen!”

When the people of the Ruwana gathered around, one of the soldiers stepped forward and raised his hand to stop the instruments being played. The folks stopped talking and focused their attention on the said soldier who was carrying a red fold in his hands, a royal letter from the palace.

“A joyous royal announcement has arrived from the Royal Palace.” The man's loud voice boomed in the air and multiple ears perked up with great attention.

The soldier unfolded the red colored cloth letter with the royal sign of Ruwana at its back. His loud voice boomed again, as loud as the sun shining.

"Beloved subjects of Ruwana,
We are delighted to announce the forthcoming union of Her Highness Princess Jeong Y/N with His Highness Prince Kim Taehyung of Raventhore,
the son of his majesty King Kim Gwanjong and her majesty Queen Kim Cheorin. The wedding ceremony will commence five days hence, at the propitious victory hour. We humbly invite your gracious presence and benevolent wishes for the royal couple.
Your majesty,
King Jeong Chaewon.”

The soldier looked up after finishing and hearing loud talks with faces of huge smiles. His face stayed stoic but there was a shine of happiness and pride in his eyes.

“Our beloved princess is going to marry.” Giggles and excitement arose among the folks.

Prince Kim Taehyung of Raventhore? That almighty kingdom of Raventhore??”

I've heard a lot about his highness, he has an unmatched valor.”

“Isn't he the one who killed rogue wolves in the Namsan kingdom?”

“My lord! I wanna see him! I wanna see him.”

“Our princess is such a rare beauty, his highness and her highness would make a great couple.”

Princess Jiyeon smiled after finishing up the letter she was writing. Putting the brush into the black inkpot, Jiyeon rolled up the cloth letter and tied it with a golden lace thread. It was the letter to her family, to  Cheonhwa Kingdom, informing about her extended stay in Ruwana and the marriage of Taehyung and Y/N.

Walking down the corridor, Jiyeon reached an intersection where a couple of messengers were waiting. Jiyeon smiled approaching the soldier who would travel to the Cheonhwa kingdom in South-east.

“This has to reach the Hanseong kingdom.” Jiyeon heard the familiar voice and turned her head to see Prince Park Jimin on her left. He was also giving the letter to a messenger assigned to go to his Kingdom. “So this monkey is from the Hanseong kingdom.” Jiyeon muttered, squinting her eyes slightly.

Just as her eyes were taking in him, the said monkey's gaze averted to her. It was a moment both of them stared at each other before Jiyeon made a face as if she saw something disgusting, her eyes rolling.
