chapter 28

      Edward pov

I was waking up to Emmett pulling me out of the freezing water and slamming me into the hospital bed.

I was trying to figure out what was happening. My sister was inches in front of my face.

"I found you this morning coming out of total shut down and Emmy said you walked out two days ago Edward. Do you even know the temperature of that water you fell into when you shut down?" I shook my head in shock.

"By some miracle your alright and I have no clue as to how and why because in all rights you're heart should of stop beating the moment your body hit that water and your body temperature sure and the hell shouldn't be normal right now in fact." She told me and now I was really confused and I moved my eyes over to the special tub that my wife was in and I still had total complete control over everything for her and I still had that connection open with her.

I slowly sat up and rolled halfway up on my side looking over at the tub in amazement at what my wife did for me even though her heart wasn't beating and I fell back against the bed with that new smile on my face.

"My wife did it so I could fucking recharge damn it!" I started to laugh. "When I need her the most she always finds a way to help me no matter what, just like I do for her." I looked at Em and my sister and they were both smiling at me.

"So are you ready to get out of these wet clothes Jokester and and get back to work seems how I'm recharged now and Em and Rosey started laughing with me.

Em and I got changed and started with mine and my office first and once done with that our command center.

We didn't have everything yet but when we do we will finish.

Then we started with the training rooms then we started from the ground up putting what we had up and together and hooked up and into its place but never turned anything on.

Once done and we couldn't do anymore because we didn't have the stuff yet but all the walls were done completely all over the ship and all the rooms and bathrooms in those rooms and all the flooring was down too.

As all the books and other supplies started coming in we worked together to get it put away in its spot.

Rosey was finally able to do surgery today after Bella's friends turned their focus mainly on getting what my sister needed first and then they went back to getting the rest of the stuff we needed.

It was going to be a really long day and Em kept me updated because he kept the walkie with him.

It was going to take my almost 42 hours to fix, repair and re pull out both her shoulders out of joint again since they never fully went back into place and put them back into place.

So it would be a long 42 hours and my wife was having major surgery as we speak.

I still always kept that connection open for her and Em sat with me the whole time while I sat in the security room sitting on the floor against the bed with my back against it.

The minute my sister started surgery and I had the music on the laptop on as loud as it would go on repeat.

I just sat there with my head leaned back against the bed just staring thinking about my wife and remembering everything about her not saying a word.

I had my elbow against my knee that was bent and my hand was not completely folded into a fist but relax as I laid the side of my face on on the back of my hand and the other one just laid lazily over my other knee not moving except for to nod letting Em know I heard him about the update with my wife.
