P: "No, that was a good idea. You are an idiot for running away."

R: "I panicked okay! Fuck, I don't know what to do!"

P: "You go march your ass up to his dorm and confess your love, dipshit!"

R: "But what if he doesn't like me back?"

P: "Regulus, he loves you. Go tell him you love him too."

Regulus knocked on the dorm door and James opened it within seconds. He shot Regulus a very confused look. "Reggie, wha-."

"Shut up," Regulus stated, cutting him before he stepped forward and crashed their lips together. James didn't hesitate to kiss him back and he pulled Regulus into his room, shutting the door as he did so.

After a moment, James pulled away. He stared at Regulus with doe eyes and his breathing was heavy. "I-."

Regulus cut him off again, "You can say whatever you want to me later but right now... I need to tell you something."

"Is this about all the flirting?"

"Sort of. Please just let tell you the truth."

James gave him his full attention. "I'm listening, go on."

Regulus took a deep breath before speaking. "I love you, James. I've been in love with you since I was 13. I only pushed you away because I was scared and my parents found out and I just- I thought I couldn't have you and that you didn't want me so I just pushed you away and then I just... regretted it. I started to realize that you felt the same way about me and I thought I had lost you. I wasn't even planning on kissing you today because I thought my chance with you was long gone but it just sort of... happened. I'm so sorry if I fucked everything up. I don't know how to do this love thing."

Tears filled James's eyes now. "I love you too, Reggie. You didn't lose me. I'm all yours. I'm all yours."

Regulus stepped forward to crash their lips together again. It was a long and passionate kiss that they had both longed for forever.

James was the one to break the kiss once again. He beamed at Regulus as he cupped his cheeks in his hands. "And for the record, I don't know how to do this love thing either."

Regulus let out a wet laugh, happy tears forming in his eyes. "I guess we will just have to figure it out together then."
