Warning: Cursing, Violence

Did you know, crows and ravens are intelligent enough to make tools

Cai watched with Sirius--who rested in his usual place on her shoulders, as Mei quite easily beat up MK's character with her own, on the Monkey Mech VII arcade game that sat outside Pigsy's shop. The two teens having dragged them from his crocheting of the zodiac he was doing that morning, in order to watch them settle a score on the game, as the unofficial ref or 'third party' as it'd been put.

"Button mash all you want MK, you'll never beat my Ancient Galloping Fury Power," Mei gloated at the frustrated teen, who was making some interesting faces towards his 'sister' at the moment.

"If that ain't a mouthful to say," Cai hummed, having long since gone to her phone to answer a few commission texts from a client, glancing up every now and again to make sure the score was kept fair and square. "Why do video games always make such long titles for attacks?"

"Dunno', but they do sound interesting," Sandy piped up from where he was standing besides the woman, sweet eyes sparkling in interest.

Mei gave another evil laugh and raised her arm, ready to deal the final blow, when her phone began ringing, the female checking it and frowning at whoever was on the other end, "Time out MK, I gotta' take this."

Walking a bit away, she pressed answer, and began talking sadly to whoever was on the other line, body quite tense during the conversation. This had--of course--caught Cai's attention, the the elder female frowning and wanting to help, but knowing it was rude to interrupt a conversation, especially one she had no context to.

Though, if she had to guess, it was probably Mei's parents, seeing as those were the only two people that could ever get the dragon girl as uncomfortable as she currently looked.

An unhappy meow broke the Bird Beast from his thoughts, turning xier head to Sirius, who was looking at MK's back with narrowed eyes, the male teen having used the opportunity of Mei's call to start wailing on her defenceless character in an attempt to beat her.

"MK," Cai's warning tone make the boy flinch in fear, shakily turning his head to face the the person, who heald one of the most terrifying faces--in his opinion--on earth.

The Neutral Face of Disappointment.

"What have I told you about cheating?"

"That it's not good, and that it's one of the top three things, that you hate most for people to do to others?" Shrinking in on himself at the narrowed eyes of cat and owner, our adolescent friend realized he was in trouble.

"There's three things I was taught as a kid by my dad, that he hates for people to do, and he instilled this in me so I wouldn't end up doing it myself. And that's lying, cheating and stealing."

"And I'm doing one of those things," MK's shoulders slumped in shame, as he decided it'd be best to pause the game instead.

Sighing, Cai walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder, "Listen MK, I'm telling you this because I want you to turn out to be a good person. You already were when we first met, but I want you to continue, to be a good person. Especially, now that you've become a hero, and are wielding an immense amount of power. Okay?"

"Yessir'."

"Good," Smiling gently and ruffling the teens hair, who laughed at this fond gesture, the pair turned to where Mei was finishing up her phone call, the older of the two calling out to her.
