Warning: Cursing, Violence

Crows have to deal with a menagerie of predators, such as hawks, owls, coyotes, and raccoons. To ward them off, the corvids exploit the fact that there can be strength in numbers. Upon seeing a would-be attacker, crows are known to gather, with some groups consisting of or more. Individual crows then swoop down to deliver passing blows with their beaks, often inflicting serious bodily injury in the process. If all goes well, the target will back off—though it may kill a few of the dive-bombers before they retreat.

Opening up the shop that morning, whilst Pigsy got the grill and other cooking utensils ready for the daily rush, Cai was not ready to be met face to face with the world's creepiest grin, shrieking in utter fear whilst Sirius hissed and yowled on her shoulders, "HOLY SHIT, WARN A GAL WHY DON'T YA'?!"

"My apologies dear lady, but I was wondering if the Monkie Kid lives within this humble abode?" Was the erie response that they got, making shivers run up xier spine, Tang also looking freaked out by their visitor.

By now, several dozen crows had landed nearby in ready positions, also feeling weary of the new face in front of the shop, watching as the head of the murder made their decision on what to do, "Yeah, what about it?"

"Perfect! I am the Mayor of this fine city, and I am here to bestow upon this dear boy, the Key to the City!~" Showing off a very creepy looking Skeleton Key, the happy yet freaky mayor 'walked' into the shop. I say 'walked', because the way he moved was not normal, whatsoever, the man's whole demeanor setting off alarm bells in the Bird Beast's head.

Going to stand by Tang, Cai leaned towards the teacher and whispered, "Are you also getting weird vibes from this guy or...?"

"No, I'm freaked out by him too," Was his response, the monk-dressed male shivering in fear when the 'Mayor' turned his head with a creak to look at the two adults.

"Hey, why's it so--Holy Shit!!" Pigsy's pig-like shriek of fear had everyone, but the Mayor jumping in surprise, as the chef looked both horrified and baffled by their guest. "Uh, hello there?"

"Mr. Pigsy, this is--apparently--the city's mayor, and he's here to give MK, a Key to the City....albeit a creepy one," The artist explained to her landlord, looking weary, as Sirius burying himself into her bird skull hoodie, the day having been colder than usual. "So uh, I'm gonna' go wake up MK."

Taking the opportunity to use waking the teen up as an excuse to leave, Cai bolted up the stairs and knocked on the hero's apartment door, who eventually opened it, immediately growing worried at the sight of Cai and Sirius' unease, "Hey, is everything alright?"

"The Mayor of this fine city has shown up to give to the key to it, and you're the recipient, apparently," Glancing down the stairs every now and again, it was clear to anyone that this 'Mayor' was making them uneasy. "So, I'll give you time to get dressed."

"A-alright then...would you uh, call Mei? I'm-I'm sure she'd want to be here for this," The  unease appeared to be contagious, as the male teen was now nervous himself, walking back into the apartment to get ready. Nodding, the corvid dialed the dragon girl's number, who quite happily answered, only to get nervous at her older sibling's tone, stating she'd be there soon.

Now all gathered at the shop, MK stood brittlely next to the 'Mayor' as the figurehead began his speech, "As Mayor, I hereby give Monkie Kid, the key to our fair city!~"

Shivers went up everyone's spine at the sight of the 'Mayor's' body moving to face MK, his head following behind several seconds later, eyes remaining forever unblinking, the male teen shakily taking the key into his hands with an extremely forced smile, before freezing as the power of this 'key' temporarily flowed through him, eyes flashing an eerie blue before turning back to normal.
