Zane's P.O.V:

“Load the deck!” I yelled.

“Aye, Aye Captain!” all my friends yelled back.

Cole picked up the food containers, Jay picked up the water bags, Kai picked up the first aid, and Lloyd picked up daily items that we needed.

“Make sure you check everything on this list,” I said, handing Lloyd a list.

“Aye, Aye Captain,” Lloyd said, taking the list and going to the rest.

They managed to check off everything on the list while I took the steering wheel.

We were off to Ninjago City! I was really excited because we were going to college there! And I get to be a Captain!

“Ready to catch some mermaids?” Cole laughed.

“Born ready!” Jay said.

With that I started the ship and steered. We were all headed to college and our mode of transportation there is by ship! It was Jay’s idea first for adventure and everyone agreed. I only agreed if I got to be Captain.

“I don't want to get there too soon, so take your time, Captain Zane,” Kai said, sitting down on a chair and pulling a Jenga box from under the table.

“Don't worry, we won't be there anytime soon. We still have a long way to go!” I said.

“How long will it take?” Lloyd asked, setting up the Jenga tower.

“About three months, but we will get there in time before college starts,” I said.

“Oh man. I wish we got there after college started,” Jay said, taking a piece out of the Jenga tower.

“Well we better get there on time if we want a better future. Plus I am really excited to get there!” I said.

“Of course you are, nerd!” Cole laughed, taking a Jenga piece out.

I ignored the name calling and continued to steer the ship. The waves were really calm today which was nice. The ocean was very blue. The crystal clear ocean glistened in the sunlight.

When it was time for lunch, I had to make that. Kai took over the ship and I went to the back to make lunch. I took out 5 slices of bread and put the ingredients on top. Then, I put another slice of bread on top of each sandwich. Tada, 5 sandwiches made!

I took the sandwiches towards the steering room because that was where everyone was. When I entered the area, I heard a loud noise of clatter. The Jenga tower had fallen down.

“Who lost?” I asked.

“Sandwiches!” Cole squealed, running up to me and taking one.

“Lloyd did,” Jay said, answering my question.

“Stop lying! Jay took out the wrong piece and dropped the whole tower,” Lloyd argued.

Jay got up to take a sandwich and said,“we all know Lloyd lies all the time! Remember the time he beat Kai's high store in Fist to Face 2? He lied about it! He blamed one of us like he is doing now.”

Lloyd was about to protest until I interrupted,“it's just a game! Stop fighting and just play again.”

I knew Jay was lying, so I gave Lloyd a reassuring smile. Lloyd smiled back at me and I knew he knew what I was trying to tell him.

I gave a sandwich to Lloyd and then one to Kai who was still steering the ship. I took the wheel and ate while doing it. I didn't want to stop the ship because it would take more time to get there. I think we should stop tomorrow.

“Captain, how much longer?” Jay asked, groaning.

“I already told you, three more months! Also, this was your idea to begin with,” I said.

Jay put the last piece of the Jenga tower to rebuild it and said,“oh yeah, I forgot about that.”

I snickered.
