I provided a map just in case you are confused! So, the island with the white arrow is the new location that is introduced in the chapter and their end goal is the island above the red X mark. 

P.I.X.A.L's P.O.V:

The physical touch that I got from Zane made me shiver. Not because I was cold. It felt weird, but a good type of weird. It felt good for some reason. I know I shouldn't be reacting this way, but something is stopping me. Maybe the feeling of love.

"I think the storm stopped," Cole said, looking out of the window.

"Then, we should head towards a nearby island next," Nya stated, looking at the map for our next directions.

As everyone was leaving, Zane picked me up bridal style. It annoyed me how much I liked the feeling of him carrying me, how much I like the feeling of his hand around me. But, that had to end as Zane ran quickly down the rocks, to the ship.

He put me down as I thanked him and I jumped into the water. I loved how the water hugged me as soon as I entered it.

"Follow me!" Nya yelled as we did.

Zane and his friends were still getting their ship started as Nya, Skylor, Harumi, and I were already swimming. We decided to get a head start because the ship is faster than us and can easily catch up to us anytime.

And as I had guessed, in a matter of minutes we heard the loud honk of the ship behind us.

"Hah, we caught up!" Kai laughed.

"Obviously," Harumi rolled her eyes.

Nya still wanted to go fast because she loves a challenge, so she started swimming faster than ever before and we all had to follow her or else we would get lost!

I guess we were racing to the next island. Mermaids vs. Explorers!

Short chapter, I know and I'm sorry. I just have been very busy with school and I am sick, so my motivation levels are very low at the moment. But, don't worry, when I get better I bet I will write more. For now, please deal with this, sorry! See ya in the next chapter!
