*The Next Day* 

Nya's P.O.V:

I spent the rest of the time yesterday brainstorming how I was going to tell P.I.X.A.L and Harumi about our plan. How do I even start? What do I tell them? 

Oh hey Pix and Harumi, I just jumped on a ship deck where I found a bunch of hot guys. Especially this one hot guy, but we don't talk about that. But, I found out that one of the guys was my brother, Kai, long story actually. Now we are going on a journey to find how to become human and how they can become mermen. Are you still following or did you fall asleep yet? If you did then thank goodness because I don't want to die by you, Harumi. 

No! That sounds so bad and it doesn't make them want to go on the journey. 

Maybe I should approach P.I.X.A.L first, she is more understanding. She will get mad at me, but she won't kill me. I need to bring Skylor with me just in case. It is both of our ideas after all, I think. 

I will find both P.I.X.A.L and Skylor in our cave. Maybe Harumi will be there, but I hope she isn't. I swam all the way to the cave and entered it as I heard laughing. 

In the cave were Skylor, P.I.X.A.L, and Harumi. Her tail was taking the most space in the cave as always, royal problems. She was staring at me with a smile. I returned that smile, but it was shaky. I hope she didn't notice how nervous I was. 

“Good morning, Nya,” P.I.X.A.L said. 

“Morning,” I said. 

I gave Skylor a look. I hope she knew what message I was trying to give her: get Harumi out of here as soon as possible because I have to talk to P.I.X.A.L about our plan 

She raises her eyebrow. 

Sorry, I mean my plan. Now can you take her? 

Skylor gave me a slight nod. It is weird how friends can understand each other without having to use words. 

“Harumi, want to go find some new sea creatures?” Skylor asked. 

“Sure, it sounds fun. How about Nya and P.I.X.A.L?” Harumi asked. 

“We have to…gather ingredients for our new recipe and I need P.I.X.A.L to find what is poisonous and what not. Also, we only need two people for the job and Skylor wanted to spend more time with you,” I said. 

“Aww, thanks Sky. Then, let's go. Have fun!” Harumi said. 

She changed a lot. From an evil princess whom we all hated to our best friend. Harumi wasn't always good. She was born a troublemaker. Skylor, P.I.X.A.L, and I who were friends since birth, as we like to think about it, hated her. We thought Harumi was a spoiled brat. She played pranks on people, taking things too far. 

But, the day her parents didn't return from their expedition, she changed. Harumi knew that responsibility had come to her and she needed to take it with a smile. I did feel bad for her, but we still hated her. Until one day she approached us. 

“Hello?” We heard her slightly girly voice before it had changed. 

There was the princess in front of our cave. A cave for the three little idiots we were, including P.I.X.A.L even though I know she wasn't an idiot, but whatever. Harumi had come to our cave! Our cave! 

We were all shocked and didn't know what to do so we allowed her in. We were still pretty little at the time. Harumi didn't have any friends because she was a troublemaker, but she still wanted some. 

“Come in,” I said in my most intimidating voice which probably sounded more squeaky than I thought. 

“I am Harumi,” she said.
