Chapter Twenty Seven

Santana took a deep breath as she looked at all her peers. They stared back at her expectantly.

"I have two big announcements." She said. "The first... Is that they're gonna let me come to graduation in a cap and gown. They'll even give me a real diploma, it just won't be signed yet."

The glee club clapped and smiled.

Rachel even let out a "Fantastic!"

"And the second..." She glanced at Brittany who stood up and held her hand.

"Is that Brittany and I are officially together."

This earned an even louder and more enthusiastic round of applause.

Quinn even muttered, "I knew it!" Excitedly.

"So of course we have a song for you guys!" Brittany smiled.

They turned to face each other as the opening music began.

Santana began.

Each time the wind blows

Then Brittany came in with her part.

Both sang the next lines.

As the chorus came, the rest of the glee club began to sing backup as they smiled and swayed, looking at the adorable girls as they held hands and danced around and sang to each other with such real and raw passion.

They finished staring into each other's eyes and the whole club got on their feet and cheered and hooted and clapped as loudly as they could.

Brittany snapped out of her trance and smiled at the club, bowing. Santana did the same and she even leaned over and gave Brittany a kiss on the cheek which Brittany returned by dipping her like in a ballroom dance, and giving her a full on kiss.

The other students went crazy at that and they all ran up to hug the two girls.

Brittany smiled at Santana as they ate. She was in such a good mood. They were outside for lunch, it was sunny, they were out, and there were only two days left of school including today since it was a short week. Her life was perfect.

"I love you." She smiled lazily.

"I love you too." Santana said back with a giggle. "But you've already said that like ten times, Britt."

"I know." The cheerio shrugged. "I'm just so happy."

"Me too. I never thought I could be this happy. Even before..." She closed her eyes.

Brittany put her hand on Santana's. "You don't have to say it."

The Latina opened her eyes. "No. I do. I was raped." She said firmly. "I was raped and it was awful and disgusting, but it wasn't my fault. I did nothing wrong and my rape does not define me or who I am."

Brittany grinned. "I'm so proud of you." She said as she squeezed her girlfriend's hand.

"I'm proud of me too."

"Ladies, mind if I sit here?"

They looked up to see a smiling Quinn.

"Sure!" Brittany said cheerily.

Quinn looked to Santana nervously.

The Latina smiled up at her. "Yeah. Of course."

The shorter blonde sat. "So Finn and I just broke up.

"Why?" Brittany gasped.

"He's in love with Rachel." She shrugged. "And... I'm in love with someone else and he's in love with me too."

"Who?!" Both Santana and Brittany cried.

"Puck."

"Puck?!" Brittany exclaimed.

"I know, I know." Quinn laughed. "But he's been sweet to me. And I really, really love him. I'm excited for this. He's going on with his pool cleaning business and is going with me when I go to Yale."

"That's great, Q." Brittany smiled. "So now we're all friends huh?" She said.

"I guess so." Santana agreed.

"Best friends slash lovers." Quinn clarified. "Minus me on the lovers part though." She chuckled.

The others joined in.

"Y'know I think the three of us might be good together." Quinn said with a half smile. "Like the holy trinity."

Santana wrinkled her nose. "Only not very holy."

"The Unholy Trinity!" Brittany cried.

"I love it!" Quinn laughed.

Santana nodded in agreement. "I guess that's us. The unholy trinity."

The girls laughed some more, all excited that their high school days were coming to a close on such a happy note.

AN: so here is an early update because I'm on a roll with this story!!!! But guys now there is only a chapter and an epilogue left😭😭😭 Well let's make the best of it! Love you guys! Comment, vote, share? MWAH!
