Opal rushed downstairs just as Edaline, Grady, Sophie and Keefe came in.
"Sophie! Keefe! You guys are here!" Opal shouted as she gave them a huge hug.
"Yeah, we are. Mind letting go?" Keefe smirked. Opal let go, her face reddening. She saw Edaline and Grady. "Good evening, Mr. and Mrs. Ruewen."
Edaline smiled. "No need for formalities, Opal."
Opal grinned.
"Come on guys! Let's go play Base Quest! Biana's already waiting for us." Fitz shouted, pulling Sophie, Keefe and Opal to the garden.
"Dude, chill." Keefe ruffled his hair. Opal rolled her eyes as Keefe winked at her.
They reached the garden, where Biana was already waiting.
"I want Sophie on my team!" Biana shouted immediately after she spotted them.
"Fine! Me and Keefe are on the same team." Fitz rolled his eyes.
"I can be the referee!" Opal suggested, "To make sure no one cheats."
Sophie nodded, and the game began.
"Help us out," Fitz transmitted to Opal.
"Sure," Opal transmitted back.
Opal tracked Sophie and Biana's thoughts and realized that Sophie was guarding their base while Biana was questing.
"Biana's at the left fence," Opal transmitted to Fitz, who was questing.
"Roger," Fitz replied. Opal smiled. Suddenly, she felt someone tapping her shoulder. She turned around and saw Sophie frowning.
"I know you're transmitting. " Sophie smirked.
"How?" Opal asked.
"I can locate people's thoughts, remember?"
Opal groaned. "Fine. I told Fitz Biana's location."
Sophie smiled. "Finally, a confession."
