"Good morning, miss," Opal greeted.
"Sit down, Opal," Lady Cherish said smilingly.
Opal sat in front of Lady Cherish.
"Let's get started, shall we?"
Lady Cherish started explaining the ethics of mesmerizing, and the importance of gaining control.
"I heard about the incident yesterday," Lady Cherish said, "So let's start with controlling your emotions."
Lady Cherish taught her step-by-step and answered all of Opal's questions. She also helped Opal hide her emotions deep in her mind - a very advanced skill - and Opal barely struggled with Lady Cherish's help. By the end of the lesson, Opal could control and hide her emotions, a feat Lady Cherish said was quite impossible for a beginner.
"You were excellent, Opal! Remember to practice at home. I'm sure you'll be able to become an incredible Mesmer in no time!" Lady Cherish complimented.
Opal smiled and thanked Lady Cherish before exiting the classroom. She walked back down to the Level two floor, and it was then she realized she had forgotten to take off and return her silver cape.
"Shoot," Opal thought as all eyes were on her. She quickly took off her cape and stuffed it in her bag. Then, she rushed back to the silver tower. She knocked on the large doors, and Master Leto opened the doors.
"Is something wrong, Opal?" he asked. Opal took out the silver cape and returned it to him.
"Sorry, I forgot," she mumbled.
"It's fine," Master Leto said as he took the cape from Opal's hands.
"Thanks." Opal smiled.
Opal walked back to the Level two floor.
