Opal slowly opened her eyes. She felt weak and her head was throbbing. Hard. She could barely think straight. She tried sitting up and nearly failed.

"Ouch," Opal winced.

"You're awake!" Sophie exclaimed, hugging Opal tight, "Are you feeling alright?"

"Not really," Opal replied, "Everywhere hurts."

"That is to be expected," Elwin informed.

Opal looked up. The Vackers were all there, and so was Elwin, Sophie and Keefe.

"What happened?" Opal asked, rubbing her head.

"I think we should be the ones asking that," Alden said sternly.

"Sophie wouldn't tell us anything," Biana whined, "She said she wanted to wait for you to wake up."

"Well, that's because Opal did everything. She's a pyrokinetic!" Sophie said.

Sophie smiled awkwardly at Opal.

"I don't think so. It's not possible," Opal replied.

"Then how do you explain what happened?" Sophie retorted.

"What exactly happened?" Elwin asked.

Sophie recounted everything that happened at Drinkcle's and with every word she said, everyone turned one shade paler.

"So, you're saying you saw her control fire?" Alden asked, unable to believe what he had just heard.

Sophie nodded.

"And she made a green, water-like flame that extinguished Everblaze?" Alden asked, even more flabbergasted.

Sophie nodded, even more vigorously this time.

"I don't believe it," Della muttered, "It can't be the Detieny flame. That's just a legend."

"What's that?" Opal asked.

"Legend has it that there used to be a bright, green flame has the strength of a great lightning strike, but it acts kind of like water, so it can stop, or in your case, extinguish any kind of fire," Della shuddered, "Only the most ancient and powerful elves can achieve it."

"So, you're saying that there's a chance that I just summoned a fire that practically no one has ever summoned before?"

"No," Alden said sternly, "That's not a possibility. Although, I will have to talk to the Council about this."

"It might be if it's so important that you have to see the Council. Plus, what other explanation is there?"

"I am not sure myself, but I am certain that the Detieny flame doesn't exist."

"You don't have proof!" Opal argued.

"No one has ever summoned it! That's proof enough," Alden snapped.

"I just summoned it in Drinkcle's! Just search my mind!" Opal screamed in frustration.

"That is enough! This conversation is over!" Alden shouted. Opal flinched. She had never seen Alden so angry before.

"Sorry," Opal mumbled.

"You have to rest."

"Okay..."

Note: The Detieny flame's name is actually based on detiene in Spanish, which means 'stops'. Nice. Now you've just learnt a new Spanish word. :D
