Signing Day

Blake's P.O.V

Its Finally the day, smiling as I wake up running through to Alessia's Room jumping on her. "TODAY'S THE DAY LESSI!" I exclaim as she groans while flinging a pillow at me for the rude awakening. Urging her to get up trying to contain my excitement only made her laugh as she drags out her waking up process. I mean don't get me wrong playing for Glasgow city was a dream in itself however the end goal has always been one of the top flight teams in the WSL, I just can't believe that it is Arsenal, I get to fulfil my dreams while playing alongside my sister.

We have always been close but I think our joint love for football has brough us closer over the years. she struggled a lot when she had moved to Arsenal leaving behind her best friend Ella Toone which is completely understandable, however they managed to sort it out meeting up every so often and spending all their time together at England Camps

Once we have eaten our breakfast we make our way out to the car to head to the London Colney. I was staying with Alessia due to me just moving to London from Glasgow for this opportunity. I don't know my way around London it's much much larger than Glasgow but i'm sure i'll get used to it eventually. while driving I suddenly start to feel really nervous which Lessi Notices, "You'll be fine B, remember you already know a few of the girls from England and let me tell you they are buzzing to see you." ending with a smile. this relaxed my slightly knowing I will see some familiar faces.

We finally arrive after what feels like three hours and my jaw dropped. "this is really happening2 I whispered to myself still not wanting to believe it. We make our way inside and Less leaves me as she need to get ready for training to start. I walk around slowly trying to find the office of the one and only Jonas Arsenal head coach. At this point I think I nervously running around trying to find someone to help me. I bumped into someone and instantly start to apologise looking up only to be met with the most piercing blue eyes I have ever seen, except her expression was angry "Watch It" she shouts with a thick Irish accent. Great now she hates me. I can't help but feel like i've seen her before but I could not for the life of me think from where.

I spot a figure in the distance because i'm still lost of course so I shouted "Excuse me, can you point me in the direction of Jonas' office please." I caught their attention only for them to run straight towards me and engulfed me in the most bone-crushing hug, "OMG Blake Lessi said you were here, I can't believe it your gonna be a gooner." Leah of course. "Leah Can't Breathe" she laughs as she lets go, cmon then bean she says as she leads me to Jonas' office. have fun she says while walking away.

I knock the door hearing a faint enter on the other side, walking in I am instantly met with a smiling Jonas, "Sorry i'm late i got lost." he tells me not to worry as im here now and guides me to a couple of chairs so we can sit. we get all the paperwork and signing pictures out of the way and make our way to the pitch to meet the girls. As we make our way to the other girls i am able to pick out the faces that i recognise such as Beth, Viv, and Kyra. "hey girls huddle up" Jonas yells and all the girls rush over and into the huddle, "so good news we have a new signing with us today and I would like you to make her feel very Welcome." he looks at me so that i can introduce myself, "Hi everyone i'm Blake Russo, I hope i can help the team and i'm looking forward to a new start." Nerves wracking through my body as i hear a few whispers. While i am looking at my feet i instantly feel pressure on my body as i fall to the floor only to see Beth, Viv, Leah and Kyra all piled on top of me. With an array of 'oh my gods' and 'why didn't you tell us' coming from them. I couldn't help but laugh.

Katie's P.O.V

I scoff looking at the sight in front of me this is the girl who barged into me earlier on. I keep a mental note of her and I scan her features as she stands up and something about her is familiar but i can't put my finger on it. I walk away without saying anything and instantly get back to training grabbing a ball and making my way over to the goal beginning to fire some shots in. "Oi McCabe you not going to say hi." I hear as I turn around to be met with Alessia who as i'm aware is the new girls sister. "Nah, Don't feel like it." I shout back, she mutters something as she walks away but I don't push it and continue firing shots into the goal. Training is finally finished and I get out of there as quickly as possible not looking for any more rude remarks or questions as to why I did not say hi or whatever to the new girl.

Blake's P.O.V

Training is now finished and that girl from earlier McCabe I believe after Less Shouted her name earlier was rushing off like she was on a mission. I didn't bother questioning it maybe this is just how she is and shrugged it off as I went back to the locker room with Beth basically hanging off of me. "Beth give the girl a break" I Hear Viv shout at her girlfriend, "It's fine" I say nonchalantly not wanting to cause any hassle. Once i'm Changed I say my goodbyes and head off with Lessi.

So how did you find it Blake she asks me quizzically, it was so fun, i really enjoyed myself actually, I don't know why i was nervous in the first place i say while letting out a small chuckle. something was bothering me but i didn't dare let Lessi Know but go figure she already knew. "what's up then?" she asks, Nothing i retort feeling instantly guilty for snapping at her, "ok then no need to get mad i was only asking but since your angry i know that there is something the matter." i curse myself internally for being so obvious. Once we reach the house i rush out of the car and straight up to my room and begin punching the pillow, normally it's the wall but that would be too loud, cursing myself for snapping at Lessi, being so obvious and letting whatever this is about this girl McCabe affect me like this. Instead of eating dinner or anything at all i just curl up in bed and go to sleep hoping that the bed swallows me up so i don' have to face her again tomorrow.

Alessia's P.O.V

Blake dinner i shout up the stairs gaining no reply so i make my way upstairs cautiously not wanting to spark another outburst from her, god knows what the one in the car was about. I reach her bedroom door knocking gently and opening it slightly only to find her asleep. I've seen this before and i hope she will talk to me if its getting bad again. See she has severe depression along with ADHD so her mood changes rather quickly and usually due to something silly. I worry about her a lot cause ya know she is my little sister after all and she's had a tough life up until now. I close the door and let her sleep while i return to the living room to eat and message some of the girls.

I laugh at her excitement she is just like a child when it comes to stuff like this. I can hear some movement coming from the stairs and see Blake coming down. "hey you good" I ask not knowing what to expect. "Yep all good" she says while hitting me with the death glare. BTW some of the girls are going to be having a little get together tomorrow and your coming before you say no, it's good for team bonding. She just scoffs and returns to her bed still without eating. 

Blake's P.O.V 

I wake up and looking at the time 9pm ffs its still the same day i huff. i make my way down the stairs and see Less sitting on the couch with an empty plate not that i mind i wasn't exactly hungry after all. "Hey you good." she asks I fucken hate that question, Yep all good I snap back. She then informs me of a little get together the girls are having tomorrow as we don't have training the following day and before I could say no she mentions something about team bonding causing me to scoff so i just make my way back to bed hoping to stay asleep this time and never wake up
