Ch.66 [Monarch vs Monarchs. El Finale]

Some time passed as slowly disappearing bodies of the Monarch's were sprawled around William.

"Heh. In the end we lost." Ifzus snorted with an evident smirk of satisfaction. Yogumunt only lightly nodded as their bodies slowly disintegrated further "To think we would die..."

William only stared at the two. As he could feel his mana reaching lower point since long ago. 'I didn't even use commands... why does it draw so much?'

"... To another Shadow Monarch." Ifzus comment made William raise a brow. "Was it that obvious? Ifzus? Yogumunt?" Asking the two, he crouched down to get a bit closer to them.

"Of course. Who else would fill area with such deathly wails, used shadows, and most importantly." Yogumunt spoke between few coughs as half of his and Ifzus's bodies were already gone. "You... You knew names of Blanchard, Dov and Ifzus. The only Monarchs who never cared about those names."

"So. Because of our first meeting in the Void, sold me out. Just simply because I got used to calling you all by names. Even Antares, that piece of tsundere." Scoffing, he shortly released a small laugh and sat down fully as the Reality Marble slowly dissipated.

They only stared at each other as William chose to calmly finish them off. As he was now in middle of the city, military vehicles all around with Hunters of all ranks.

He could feel them all being nervous. And Ready to Fight.

While he reached into his shadow with his hand and pulled out unconscious Jin-Woo. Calmly walking over to the people as he had Jin-Woo thrown over his shoulder like a bag of potatoes. "Here, he's yours." William calmly spoke as everyone stared at him nervously.

While he turned back around and smiled towards someone. Someone specific. "Go Gun-Hee." Muttering to himself, he placed Jin-Woo down as he suddenly teleported in front of Gun-Hee, grabbing him by the shoulder as the two suddenly disappeared.

People started to run in panic. While some healing Hunter's quickly started healing wounded and pretty much halfdead Jin-Woo.

"Find that Monster!" Someone half-transformed into a humanoid white tiger.

People spread thorough the whole city, searching for William and Go Gun-Hee.

As it was erected around the whole area, it was made for everything inside it to look surprisingly normal. A perfect photo being used. As if putting a camera on a loop.

Go Gun-Hee looked calm, his body language didn't show any sign of fear. But for a trained eye. Experienced eye.

In normal situations, one wouldn't spot a single opening. A single way to attack under these circumstances is simply impossible.

"Since you didn't attack me yet. You wish to speak. Monarch." Gun-Hee's mana burst around the open area, like a beautiful golden light. "Ruler. Monarch. I'm both." William spoke calmly as his shadow armor flew off from him, revealing his humane self. As he extends his hand forward to Gun-Hee. "If you won't do. I'll use Thomas."

"My only target is Antares. If you open a Gate above, with their soles coordinates to the crack between dimensions." As he spoke calmly, staring into Gun-Hee's eyes. He started releasing his Mana. But instead of letting it spread freely, he kept it composed around him in gaseous form like always. "Crack between dimensions?" Gun-Hee asked confused.
