Ch.24 [ Strange 2 ]

Classic, a forest. But compared to the one near Melromarc, this one has higher tree density. And so, its going to be a bigger fire.... if someone decides to, let's say ignite it.... I'll just say, I am not going to help extinguishing it.

Me: Having fun?

Luna kills last of her prey, or well some big wolves with some sort of wind magic.

Luna: Yup! What now?
Me: I don't know? Back to city? We spent most of our day here.
Luna: Sure.

As we walk around, I use Weather Control, and shoot a lightning from it to random mobs.

Luna: How many abilities do you have now?
Me: Too much, I might need to limit myself to few for time being.
Luna: Also, wanna meet with Naofumi, Raph and Filo? They were worried about you.

Were they? That's kind of them.

Me: Sure! You know where to find them?
Luna: They invited me for a dinner, so yeah, it's that restaurant by shore.

Luna: They aren't here yet?
Me: Let's get a table, and wait for them, they propose went to refresh themselves.
Luna: Possible.

We sit down at one table and I ordered myself some tea, as for Luna, she got herself pineapple juice.
She gave me a taste.... and it's 100% juice flowing straight outta a pineapple.

And so we had a small talk in silence.

Me: By the way, what happened when I, went unconscious? Can you give me some details?
She starts lightly fidgeting in her seat, seems like it's a sensitive topic for her....

Luna: I suddenly woke up, with you getting suddenly electrocuted and lightly burned in many places..... my Aura protected me, and I reacted fast and got you on the floor while cooling you down.... since you were too hot to even touch.... I destroyed the door, and called for help.... one of Sailors went out fast, and came back with some people, and among them was Naofumi...

Me: I see.... my answer will be, 'I don't know'. And just, lie that you don't know why that happened to me, okay?

She only nods, and before she tries to continue our conversation, I point towards incoming bird missile, and behind the said missile is, Naofumi, Raphtalia... and Rishia? Was it?

Filo: UNCLE!!!

I catch her, and let her hug me. She's still such a cute kid.
Me: I'm fine now, see?

I point at myself.

Raphtalia: It's great to see you awake Mr.William!
Naofumi: Seems like you got better?

I slowly caress Filo's head, and answer them.

Me: Yeah, also stop with the Mister thing, I'm not that old.

Raphtalia nods, as they all sit at the table.
I turn towards Rishia, and ask.

Me: I believe, I didn't catch your name?
Rishia: I-I'm Rishia! It's n-nice to meet you!

She stutters, why is she even embarrassed?

Me: William, so how were your last few days?

Naofumi: Quite good, we level up a lot.
I can see him frown a bit.
Me: But?

He takes a deep calm breath.
Naofumi: A wave is going to start here, in 5 days.
Me: That's all?

Naofumi: What do you me-!
