Kat stared at her phone overthinking the last message she send.

Kat: I am ready to talk

Suddenly her phone blinked and Kat has never been so fast to open the message.

Billie: I'll pick you up in 20

Thats all she send. A rush of anxiety flashed over Kats body. What if she doesn't want her anymore? What if she's had enough? She brushed off the feelings as well as she could as she got ready.

When Billie arrived the sun has already set. She was wearing a loose baggy fit that hid her soft features.

They drove in silence avoiding the elephant in the room until Kat finally spoke up for the first time.

"Where are we going?"

Billies teal hair hid part of her face as she spoke. "You'll see,"

They arrived in Central Park as they both got out and sat down on the park bench.

"How have you been KitKat,?" Billie asked with sad eyes.

"I've missed you calling me that," Kat admitted. "I've missed you Billie."

"I thought you've already forgotten about me," Billie laughed but her voice hid a sense of vulnerability and hurt.

"I'm sorry I haven't reached out earlier," Kat started. "I just- I just needed some time,"

"I understand" Billie smiled sadly. "What changed your mind now?"

Kat hesitated. "I talked to Noah"

"I am sorry Kat, I never should have brought it up, we were fine the way we were before,"

"No," Kat shook her head "No Billie, I don't want to keep lying to ourselves, I dont want us to take back what we said," she admitted quietly, referring to the song lyrics Billie wrote for her.

Billie looked at her with pure eyes. "Me neither Kat."

"I'm sorry how I handled it. I mean I was in deep denial since our first kiss and I didnt allow myself to feel anything at all for you. Hearing you say that just triggered something in me."

"its okay Kat," Billie said softly.

"the song- the song was truly beautiful Bil, I cried listening to it."

"Thank you, Kat," she murmured, her voice filled with warmth and affection. "I'm glad you felt the emotion behind it. I hope it wasn't too much"

"No-" Kat said quickly. "It's just is it really how you feel about me?"

Billie nodded shyly.

"Do you regret it?"

"No," Billie shook her heat. "I know this is complicated," Billie began, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "And I understand if you're worried about Noah and how he'll react to all of this."

Kat nodded, her heart pounding in her chest as she struggled to find the right words. "I just don't want to hurt him," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "He's my brother, and I love him. But I can't ignore what I feel for you, Billie. Even if I don't even understand it myself."

Billie reached out to gently caress Kat's cheek, her touch sending shivers down Kat's spine. "I know, Kat," she murmured softly. "I just want to figure it out with you together, you know?"

"me too," Kat whispered.

Kat's breath caught in her throat as she gazed into Billie's eyes, seeing the depth of emotion reflected back at her. Kat was once again captivated by Billie's ocean blue eyes and her pink lips. She glanced down at them and without hesitation, she leaned in, closing the distance between them. Their lips met in a tender, passionate kiss.

In that moment, everything else faded away—their doubts, their fears, their worries about the future. All that mattered was the electrifying connection between them, the undeniable pull she felt towards her even though she couldn't explain it.

"That's it," Kat smiled as she broke the kiss. "This is how a kiss is supposed to feel like"

"So I AM a better kisser than Ivan, knew it," Billie teased as Kat playfully hit her.

"To be honest, I am not sure if I even like boys at all," Kat confessed.

"Why u think that?"

"I dont know, they just give me the ick after a certain amount of time and kissing them is not as fun as kissing girls,"

"Woa, how many girls have you kissed besides me," Billie chuckled.

"None, but you know, I've kissed you three times so that counts as something,"

"Four," Billie whispered as she leaned in again.

Kat wanted to stay in this moment forever. Her fingertips traced softly over Billie's freckles as if she needs physical proof this was happening. Billie smiled softly at her, looking down to Kat's hand.

"I can't believe I denied wanting this for so long," Kat said lost in thoughts.

"Yea, me neither, I've been chasing you since I first showed up in your house."

"when you were fucking my brother?"

"I told you back then already that I chose the wrong sibling," Billie chuckled as Kat playfully hit her.

"So how is this gonna go now? Are we like dating now or..." Kat stumbled unsure.

Billie chuckled, interrupting her by taking both her hands in hers. "I'd say let's take one step at a time and then we see where it goes,"

"So I can still see other people?" Kat raised an eyebrow.

"No baby, you're all mine now." Billie's expression hardened. "Do you want to date other people?"

"No," Kat laughed "It took us long enough, I'm definitely not sharing you again."

Billie smiled satisfied as she leaned in to kiss Kat again, pulling her closer to her.
