Don't Stop By Fleetwood Mac

Lando Norris spent his summer break in quiet contemplation, seeking solace away from the relentless scrutiny of the public eye. He had intended to surprise Azalea with a little getaway, a chance for them to escape the pressures of their demanding lives. But their plans had been upended by the events in Monaco, leaving Lando grappling with conflicting emotions.

Instead of canceling their trip, Lando decided to take his best friend, Max Fewtrell, with him to Greece. Together, they spent the last leg of summer break away from the chaos.

As Lando sat alone in their villa, his thoughts weighed heavy on his mind. He felt like he couldn't be anything but supportive of Azalea. She showed him her feelings for Max before telling him, and Lando knew there was only Max for her. Though to the outside world, he is full-on supportive with no hard feelings, he isn't showing anyone else the doubt and anger he has towards himself for not being good enough for Azalea.

He had gotten to know Azalea so well in the past couple of months and had never met anyone who could create the glow that she radiated.

Max's voice broke through the silence, "You gonna quit brooding soon, mate? I wanna grab some food before I get packing."

Lando glanced up from his journal, meeting Max's gaze with a solemn nod. "Yeah, I'll be right there," he murmured.

Max watched his friend for a moment before speaking again. "You can't be stuck on her forever, mate. Someone else will surely come along," he offered, his words tinged with empathy.

Lando's heart ached at the thought, but he knew Max was right. Still, he couldn't shake the lingering sense of loss that hung heavy in the air.

Turning back to his journal, Lando continued to write, his pen flowing across the paper as he sought solace in the act of writing. For Lando, journaling had become a lifeline, a means of navigating the turbulent waters of his emotions.

In the tranquil surroundings of their Greek retreat, Lando found solace in the simple act of putting pen to paper, his words a silent echo of the turmoil raging within him. As he poured his heart out onto the page, he found a semblance of peace amidst the chaos, a fleeting moment of clarity in the storm of his emotions.

Lana wanted to gain as much media attention for the foundation as she could.  So she threw herself into promoting the cause, attending karting races and media events whenever possible to raise awareness and garner support.

Today, she was attending the junior karting race that Aria had sent her the details to, alongside Nathalie her ever-loyal companion. As they watched the young racers tear around the track, Lana couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in the kids she sponsored, their determination and passion serving as a constant source of inspiration.

"Ugh!! Why is Ashford so expensive," Nathalie grumbled beside Lana, her frustration evident as she scrolled through her F1 Fantasy team selections, which she took very seriously. With the upcoming races adding to her stress, Nathalie was feeling the pressure to assemble the perfect lineup.

"Because she's good," Lana grinned, tearing her gaze away from the race to glance at her friend.

"Not lately, she hasn't won in a while," Nathalie countered, her competitive spirit refusing to relent.

"Have faith, she'll bounce back," Lana reassured her friend before refocusing her attention on the race unfolding before them.

Interrupted by a small voice, Lana turned to see a young boy standing before her, clutching a hat with hopeful eyes, "Can you sign my hat?" Instantly, Lana's face lit up with a warm smile as she took the hat from him. "Of course I will!" she exclaimed, her enthusiasm infectious.

"What's your name?" Lana asked. "Mattheo," The small boy replied.

"Nice to meet you Mattheo. Now tell me, do you like to race or do you just like watching races?" She asked, engaging the shy boy in conversation as she signed his hat.

"I like both! I'm gonna race in F1 someday!" the boy, Mattheo, declared proudly, his eyes sparkling with determination. As they chatted, Lana couldn't help but admire the child's unwavering passion for racing.

"I bet you will! We'll be cheering you on," Lana encouraged him, returning his hat with a personalized message that brought a bright smile to his face.

As Mattheo bounded back to his parents, Lana couldn't help but feel a swell of joy at having made his day. "Cute kid," Nathalie remarked from beside her.

Turning back to her friend, Lana remembered about the race next weekend she was to attend.  "You'll be at Monza next weekend, right?" she asked, eager for Nathalie's company. As it was a sort of home race for Charles, Lana was expected to go to support the family. She enjoyed the sport overall but her busy life made little to no time for her to travel around watching the race from the paddock.

"Sure, if your brother hooks a girl up," Nathalie joked, shooting a playful wink in her best friend's direction.

"We'll see what he can do," Lana replied with a grin, feigning contemplation. She earned a playful shove from Nat for that one before the blonde asked, "So, you gonna watch the race from Big Brother Percival's garage or Mr. Smooth Operator's?"

Nathalie couldn't resist teasing Lana about her crush on Carlos Sainz, a long-standing joke between the two friends. Lana had a crush on the Spaniard for as long as she could remember but was never able to act on it. As far as she knew he only saw her as Charles' little sister. They developed a good friendship and joked and bantered lots, though so Lana would take what she could get.

Blushing at the mention, Lana brushed off the comment with practiced ease, determined to maintain her composure.

"Charles is my brother, so I'll be supporting him from his garage," Lana stated firmly, masking any hint of embarrassment.

Amused by Lana's reaction, Nathalie grinned mischievously, her playful demeanor a comforting presence beside her friend. With a knowing smile, she accepted Lana's response, content to enjoy the banter between them.
